My mother and I had a joint celebration of our birthdays around late September last year. The venue was everything we could have dreamed of. Since it is situated in Roosevelt Island, it was the perfect venue to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city and yet still get a beautiful view of the Manhattan Skyline. The team was also very friendly and supportive to all of our requests and questions. They made sure that our event will go accordingly to what we have envisioned. To top it all off, the food was amazing!!! It is so rare for the celebrants to eat during the event itself but I personally couldn't contain myself. Every dish that was offered during our event was impeccable and there wasn't any miss. There is not one bad thing that I could honestly say about this venue and the team behind. I highly recommend this to everyone!

The communication with Church of the Ascension was the best ever, whether by phone, text or email. The space is open and allows you to be creative and authentic - it gave my wedding day an enchanting vibe, I felt like I was in a storybook and became a princess in my own world! We originally looked at more “industrial” venues because we wanted that intimate feel and didn’t love catering hall vibes. We found Renaissance as we live close by and loved it once we toured initially. They have the space of a catering hall but the experience of a single party venue. Food was great and we never felt like we were being uncharged/swindled. Even at one point we saw an error on the agreement and Lisa changed it no problem. She was a delight to work with and never made us feel like our ask was so unbelievable. Bridal suite was big enough for 10 people to get ready. Overall nothing but great things to say about Renaissance.

Can not say enough good things about the bayview! Maggie was so attentive and reachable through the entire planning process. We had been to so many weddings and wanted something a little different. We went to the Bayview and fell in love. It was actually the only venue we toured. The food is amazing. Staff is so attentive and my guests could not get over the service. Jackie our maître d’ was so great and we loved her! They listened to our vision a definitely delivered! Highly recommend!!

GCH was the most amazing venue. I’ve been to a majority of the venues on Long Island but this one took the cake. The food was OUTSTANDING (everyone raves about it), the people (especially Paul) were so unbelievably helpful and amazing. My bridal attendant Nang was WOW. She held my train everywhere while we were walking and fluffed it to help the photographers, she always had water for me and the groom, she carried my lipsticks and had me reapplying, she bustled my dress so easily so we didn’t have to bother my mom, she got mine and my husbands afterparty outfits ready for us so we didn’t have to go upstairs… the list goes on and on. If you want a venue that makes your life super easy leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding and one that your guests will rave about for literally months this is the place.

From the moment we first reached out, the team at Jericho Terrace was incredibly responsive and helpful. They quickly replied to our texts, emails, and phone calls, and were there to guide us through every step of the planning process. On the day of our wedding, the space was absolutely beautiful - we were able to take amazing photos anywhere inside and out. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional, greeting us and our guests with a smile. Mike, Sophia, and Erica were especially wonderful, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could truly enjoy our special day. My wedding party ran late with getting ready which delayed so many things, but the Maître d’, Phil, made sure everything ran smoothly once we got to Westbury. He offered solutions for the timing of each portion of the reception and what I expected to be a stressful day ended up being the best day ever. And our bridal attendant, Dilcia, was so nice! She made sure I was fed and hydrated, that I changed my dress, and just her presence was enough to keep me calm. I cannot thank them enough for making this day one of the best of my life so far. They were a blessing to have.

From the moment we met Kathy and saw The Douglaston Manor, we knew it would be the place we get married. We absolutely loved the old charm and how spacious all the rooms were. Leonard's Palazzo was the perfect venue for our special day. We got married at Engineers Country Club on 9/21/24, and it was the best day of our lives. Ben and his team went above and beyond, and provided exceptional service. From our very first tour, to our wedding day, and all of the planning in between, Ben and his staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. We had never been to ECC before, so we solely chose the venue based on our first impression, and it was the best decision we could've made. The property is stunning. The inside is beautiful, bright, recently renovated, and clean. Ben was always quick to respond to emails and always made himself available to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot!). He was beyond accommodating, patient, and did everything with our best interest in mind. We want to thank Ben and his staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. They made sure everything remained on schedule per our timeline and every single thing went perfectly! You always hear people say that something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day, but we can't relate. Vicki, my bridal attendant, was also a dream come true. She was my shadow throughout the entire day and night. She is so incredibly sweet and cared so much about making sure I had what I needed at all times. She took photos and videos on my iPhone throughout the day and night, so we have so much awesome content to hold us over until we get the professionals back. The food was endless and delicious. People are still raving about our cocktail hour and the sushi. We could go on and on, but we'll leave it with this: If we had the chance to redo our wedding, we wouldn't change a thing. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was booking Terrace On The Park! From our very first visit and up until our big day, they were super accommodating, responsive and very organized. We’re an international couple, that was looking for an affordable, large rooftop venue that could accommodate 140 guests. The TOTP team were thorough in explaining the contracts, allowed us as many venue visits as we wished and on the day of, provided white glove service! While it rained on our big day and plans needed to change, it was all done seamlessly. They provided a small buffet of fruit, salads, and drinks in the bridal suite while we waited for our pre-ceremony photoshoot to start and the guests to arrive. The food was amazing! We’re so glad we added in the sushi platter during the cocktail hour, the amuse bouche during dinner, (the lemon sorbet was delicious) and our signature cocktail (Lavender Gin Lemonade)! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the service, food, and drinks were. We even hired ND Cigars for our cocktail hour, which added a touch of class to our event. We brought our own DJ from home, but hired a few of their preferred vendors, ACM Event Group (equipment rental & MC) and Tino Photography, for which they were all a pleasure to work with! Just a few of the amazing staff we had the opportunity to work with at TOTP are: Ken Weintraub – Event Manager Nicole Barroca – Finalist Manager Jovanna Trapani – Operations Allison – Bridal Attendant PS... The morning after our wedding we met a couple staying at our hotel that also got married at Terrace On The Park, 41 years ago!!! The Mansion at Oyster Bay was the perfect venue for our wedding. Right after we contacted the venue, Jennifer Sammarco responded and set up a tour for us immediately. From the moment we pulled up to the beautiful grounds and mansion, we fell in love with the venue. Jennifer did a great job of helping us envision our wedding day, and thoroughly explained all of their package deals to help us stay within our budget. Throughout the entire process, Jennifer was so helpful and answered every single question that we had (and we had a lot!). She was always available, right up to the day of the wedding. We were able to meet some vendors during the seasonal showcases that the venue has, and we were able to taste the food and drink at a tasting closer to the date of the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Mike Langis, the maître-d' reached out and coordinated a drop off meeting with us to drop off all of our decorations and day of items for the wedding. Mike was so incredibly kind and accommodating and made us feel at ease that he would be on the ball the day of. He absolutely was, as well as the rest of the staff at the venue. Mike helped put out all of our decorations in the morning, helped rearrange items from the ceremony to the reception, and was even able to quickly and quietly remedy a situation where we forgot a few boxes of favors, without interrupting any of the festivities of the day. He ran the entire rehearsal with the wedding party for the ceremony that we opted to have on site and connected our playlists to the venue speakers for cocktail hour and after party. Any requests that we had for coordination of the entire day was fantastically handled by Mike! We also paid to have use of the bridal suite for the entire morning, and Natalie was our bridal attendant. She was excellent, steaming my entire wedding gown, bringing drinks and food to us in the bridal suite, and helped carry my dress, drinks and food during photos. We were told that we had the A-Team between Mike and Natalie, and that couldn't have been more true! So many of our guests told us how exceptional the staff was for food and bar service as well. Everyone was so impressed by the beauty of the venue, the quality of the food and drinks, and the professionalism of the staff. We were so fortunate to have found the Mansion at Oyster Bay, because it honestly had everything that we were looking for on our wedding day. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional staff, has flexible options and packages to help you stay within budget, and is experienced in hosting weddings, this is definitely the place for you! We had our wedding at El Caribe on 08/26/2023 and our wedding day was perfect! My wife legitimately cried when she entered the Tiara ballroom. It was the only time she cried the entire day... she didn’t even shed a tear at the church lol. It well more than exceeded our expectations. Cocktail hour was incredible! My wife and I didn’t attend cocktail hour but we were able to see some photos from our guests and it was unbelievable! Cocktail hour included a lobster wall, an oyster shucking station, fresh mozzarella being made fresh in front of your eyes… it was incredible. We wish we had attended our cocktail hour just to view everything in person but we knew that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy any of the food if we did (as we would have been approached by everyone trying to talk to us and wish us congratulations). Instead we enjoyed all the food being served at the cocktail hour in a separate private room. The staff and service was incredible! Alan was super attentive. He made sure that we stayed hydrated and were able to actually enjoy the food from our cocktail hour and dinner. During our private cocktail hour, Alan dressed my wife in a white tablecloth (so she didn’t spill anything on her dress) and was attending to our every needs. One of my groomsmen’s wives joined us in our private room (she was pregnant and we welcomed her to join us so she could be comfortable) and she commented how awesome and attentive the staff was and how the staff at her venue practically forgot about her wedding (we didn’t ask for her to elaborate lol). Similarly Ashley (the bridal attendant) and George were awesome as well! The MOH was struggling to bustle my wife’s dress and Ashley just took over and bustled it up quickly! I would highly suggest El Caribe for your wedding venue! After attending my wedding my cousin (who experienced El Caribe for the first time at my wedding) booked his wedding at El Caribe shortly afterwards. Also, your cake from Aliotta Pastry Shop is included when you book with El Caribe and the cake was phenomenal.

This wedding venue is beautiful and has a spacious parking lot which is convenient for Brooklyn. There were so many appetizers and the guests really enjoyed their food. Richie Jr. is THE BEST person you could work with (easy to talk to and knowledgeable) and trust to handle all of the details. For example, we didn’t initially like the cake with the bakery they worked with but they spoke with them to custom-make it to our taste so it was delicious. Plus my husband is gluten free and once we provided the gluten-free bread crumbs, Richie worked with the chef to make some appetizers work for him. The packages were also really reasonably priced and it came with valet parking, doorman, hostess, master of ceremonies, maitre d’, head waiter, etc. They have multiple event rooms (the second floor is also going to be renovated in 2022 but I wish they would take the old red carpeting in the Patrician room - where we were since it is outdated). In the Patrician Room, we did have placement issues with the TV and cold sparkler machines so my advice for the couple is not to have the DJ in the back corner, have them closer to the dais on the right or left hand side so the lights and other tech will be worth it and if the cold sparklers are in the back corner, we can’t take pics with it but if they are in the front they set off the fire alarms so I hope this doesn’t happen with the other event rooms in terms of layout. The ladies restroom/powder room is really nice but the men’s restroom is outdated and painted green so it could use an update. But amazing chandeliers and there is also a small garden by the side area in case people want to go out for some air. Overall, you’ll have a great wedding planning experience and it’s an affordable venue with good food.

We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. Our tasting room is 1,000 sf with 2 concrete bars. Large windows open onto the sidewalk. One small bar is good for the DJ set up or serving food! Lights are all dimmable to create different moods. The main feature of the space is the large circular bar with 40 taps behind it and a big circular window that overlooks our production space. On tap we have a large selection of our cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), local beers, spirits and wine. There are 2 restrooms. There is plenty of seating, bar seats, custom bench and circular tables, all can be moved or removed. We also offer full packages including coordinating catering, djs and florals with additional add ons such as fun booths or photographers. Send us a message if you want to see more!

We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of The Bogart House as our wedding venue. We wanted something that felt truly unique, like we were in Brooklyn—not just another generic venue, and this place delivered! The rooftop sunset view was absolutely stunning, and the venue itself offered so much room for our guests to spread out, with different levels that made hosting feel seamless. The great backdrop provided a perfect canvas to really deck out the space and make it our own. It was also important to us that the venue was handicap accessible, and The Bogart House made sure that our older family members were taken care of, which we deeply appreciated. Where do I begin? I had my wedding during COVID, which wasn't easy on anyone. But, still deciding to get married, having it at Premier718, was the best decision we made. Everything went off without a hitch. Jeanette took all the pressure off my back. I gave her my ideas and she bought each one to life. I didn't see anything right until I walked in after the ceremony and when I tell you I was completely in love! The venue is modern, clean, and spacious. Words can't express how grateful and appreciative of the service I received. She took care of the decor, the cake, the food and the alcohol, and I was not disappointed. P.S Can I also mention she did all of this for me in a matter of like 10 days. Which I don't think anyone should do. haha. What I'm trying to say is that I definitely recommend Premier718!!

But even if you aren't a movie buff, the MOMI is an incredible venue - it looks amazing, its spacious and easy to get to, and (the best part) your guests get to explore all of the fun and interactive exhibits! We also had the pleasure of working with BG Hacker, the museum's event coordinator, who always made us feel like we were in good hands. He was responsive and helped us work out all of the little details that go into making a wedding a success. One thing we were worried about was our decision not to hire a DJ and instead have my husband do the music himself -- BG and his staff really helped with all of the technical elements and the music elements turned out great! We can't recommend MOMI enough!
