About this venue

Farm to People’s venue is a roomy, versatile space. The beamed ceilings, wide windows, and tasteful lighting offer a warm, rustic vibe perfect for weddings. Our adaptable venue allows for both large and intimate events and has a great flow between two spaces. We have a shaded outdoor garden area with a few parking spots available. Our bathrooms are stunning, with 9 stalls between women's/mens/all-gender rooms, ideal for large events. Impress your guests with our unique beverage selection of curated natural wines, including skin-contact ferments, local craft beer, artisanal cocktails, specialty spirits, and non-alc options. We offer innovative menus and custom catering packages, both off-site and in-house. We also offer services in coordination, audio/video, floral/decor to help your event come together smoothly. We proudly stand as an LGBTQ+ friendly establishment and warmly welcome all couples regardless of gender, orientation, religion, or race.

Rustic-chic with a gorgeous bar!

Whether it's dinner or a dance floor, this room is sure to impress. Enjoy moody lighting that illuminates a sleek, rustic 25 ft bar and a floor to ceiling mural that spans the entire room. This room is most often paired with the back room for weddings and is very much connected to it, with the bar serving as a separator. Guests can easily access the back room from both sides. It’s typically used for the cocktail hour and as the dance floor.

Our experience with Farm to People was nothing short of perfect. The very beginning of our NYC venue search was somewhat disappointing; we had a unique, sorta non-traditional vision for our wedding and had trouble finding a venue that could help us properly execute on that vision. Enter: Farm to People. From our very first conversation with Rachel, to visiting the space, to our tasting, to the day of the wedding, FTP not only helped bring that vision to life — they honestly made it better. Every single guest RAVED about the food, the drinks, the service, the staff, and the space. They nailed everything. The night was not only amazing, it was so thoroughly us and we genuinely couldn’t ask for more. People always say the wedding planning process is stressful, but Rachel made it an absolute breeze (and honestly, pretty fun!) Not to mention, it was invaluable to find a company, team, and space whose values of sustainable and ethical agriculture aligned with our own. We had the best, most fun night of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without Rachel, Michael, Mikayla, and the entire FTP team. We genuinely can’t thank them enough and we look forward to being life-long Farm to People customers!

We LOVED working with Farm to People. We couldn't recommend them highly enough. They helped us put on a beautiful wedding in a very short time frame, went above and beyond, and our guests can't stop talking about the delicious food. We initially looked at Farm to People because it aligned with our values (and our budget), and their amazing staff (especially Rachel and Michael!) helped us create a more magical experience than we had dreamed of. They even helped us with a couple of last minute/high-stress problems (a missing place card, an uninvited guest showing up, etc.) and were so cool, calm, and collected. The food was incredible, the people were kind and helpful, and the venue is beautiful. Have your wedding here if you want a wonderful wedding!

We hosted our wedding at FTP two weeks and had a more wonderful time we could’ve ever imagined. The day truly exceeded our expectations. The event manager Rachel was a dream to work with from the beginning. She is creative, organized, encouraging and realistic. Exactly the kind of person you want to be working with when planning a large and complicated event. We had an Indian American fusion wedding and she allowed us incorporate all the elements that were most important to us. Even as we threw twists and turns at her, she took it in stride (for example, we wanted to serve chai which isn’t typically on their menu, but instead of telling us no like so many other venues/caterers would’ve, we found a creative solution that worked for all of us and were able to serve it). We created a custom menu with them that was all vegetarian and my goodness, it was genuinely incredible. On top of the custom menu, they worked with us to provide two different sets of custom dishes served out to a handful of guests with very specific dietary restrictions (one was gf/celiac safe, the other was for a traditional Jain diet). We have been getting endless compliments on how good all of the food was. It made life so much easier being able to work with a venue that could provide the space, the food, the bar package, the staff, the flowers, and even the tables and chairs (though you are also welcome to bring in your own if you prefer). They encourage you to decorate the space however you want but the venue is so inviting and beautiful that it hardly needs additional decor. Not only was Rachel a dream to work with but all the staff that worked our wedding were fantastic. We’ve heard from many guests that the warm and inviting nature of the staff, and especially the bartenders, went a long way in helping create a wonderful atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend this venue more highly!!

Rachel and her team at Farm to People were amazing from the first email throughout the whole planning process. They exceeded our expectations on our wedding day though! Our guests couldn’t stop commenting about how cool the space was, how nice the staff was, and especially, how delicious the food and drinks were. Farm to People is a gem for event in NYC. Book it before it’s too late!
