Ascension Brooklyn was a great venue for our wedding day! From the moment we first reached out, their team was prompt, positive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The interior of the venue is beautiful, with a cozy and romantic feel. We were very grateful that they allowed us to visit the space numerous times before the big day, and even let us drop off many of our wedding items the day before the event. This level of flexibility and customer service truly made planning easier. We would highly recommend Ascension Brooklyn to any couple looking for a stunning, intimate, and stress-free wedding venue.

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience getting married at Church of the Ascension. As a queer couple, we had a vision in mind for a not-strictly-by-the-book, yet still spiritual and sacred wedding ceremony. Lauren and Rev. Merz supported us every step along the way with excellent suggestions, flexibility, and a strong attention to detail. They went above and beyond to be there for us. Our guests still talk about how beautiful, welcoming, serene and sacred the church felt - the space is truly one of a kind. Truly a very special place to have your wedding!

Lauren, the event manager at The Church of the Ascension, was always available to go over details with us. Church of the Ascension has much to offer, with all their furniture included, a beautiful outdoor space and a full kitchen, which is quite rare. Lauren was very hands on the entire evening and the flow of the space worked perfectly. We would highly recommend the Church of the Ascension and book Lauren as your DOC. Both true gems in Brooklyn.

The communication with Church of the Ascension was the best ever, whether by phone, text or email. The space is open and allows you to be creative and authentic - it gave my wedding day an enchanting vibe, I felt like I was in a storybook and became a princess in my own world! Lauren, the coordinator, was amazing to collaborate with and became everything I needed, from coordinator to closer. I am so happy I chose this place, it was the perfect setting for my special day!
