Without Fernie, we aren't sure our wedding would have happened! We hired Fernie as our Day of Coordinator, and met with her several times via zoom to go over details. She reviewed our materials and created a timeline for our day. She asked questions that made us think about details we might have overlooked. She did a site visit with us, ran our rehearsal, and was with us every step of the way on our day. Our wedding did not go as plan, and on the fly we were able to create a back up plan. Fernie contacted all of our vendors, and we all managed to arrive at the location around the same time. Over all, we were lucky to have her on our team!

My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. Teyanna was absolutely everything and more! I hired her for day of coordination, decor and florals. She exceeded my expectations. We had a South Asian Muslim wedding. She took the time to listen and understand my culture, wishes and vision. She was extremely realistic and reminded me of my budget and what I could do vs not do. I’m a project manager and extremely Type A. It’s hard to impress me, but she was not only able to impress me but was a step ahead. She and I worked on a timeline and had multiple versions to make sure everything was accounted for. She started advising me several months ahead of my wedding. I first heard about Abibi Bridal when I was assisting my best friend CakedbyMel assemble a wedding cake in New Hampshire in September 2023. Mind you, I was visiting my best friend in Boston for the weekend because it was her birthday. I live in New York, so I took a flight to Boston to spend time with her. My friend was hired to construct the wedding cake by Abibi Bridal because Abibi Bridal was booked as the wedding planner for the wedding. I was observing how Abbe was working with the vendors and the wedding party, and I was instantly impressed. I walked up to Abbe and told her; I am getting married next year, and I am going to book you to plan my wedding. Abbe said of course! I set up my consultation with Abbe and I booked her for her wedding coordination services immediately. I just knew Abbe and her team would execute. From when I booked Abibi Bridal at the beginning of October 2023, up until the day of the wedding, April 25, 2024, Abbe has been a blessing when it came to planning my wedding. Even though she was booked for wedding coordination, Abbe was so helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and just overall amazing throughout the entire process. She knew exactly what vendors would work great with the vision I had. Abbe knows all the best vendors and has great relationships with so many amazing vendors, that you know the vendors will execute not only because they are dedicated to their craft, because of their relationship with Abbe and Abibi Bridal. Now let’s fast forward to the day before the wedding, Abbe and her team came down from Boston, and from the moment Abbe and her team arrived until the end of the wedding the following day, Abbe and her team were all hands on deck! When I say the level of professionalism Abbe and her team had is unmatched compared to other wedding planning teams I heard about. We hired Cassie just a few months before our big day after having some communication issues with our venues coordinators, and from the moment she joined, she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She truly made our wedding stress-free and magical, handling every detail with incredible care. Cassie attended our final details meeting the day before the wedding, and our entire wedding party was blown away by her professionalism and calm demeanor. She guided the rehearsal effortlessly, making sure we were all on the same page, which made the big day run smoothly. On the wedding day, Cassie handled everything seamlessly. She helped with the little things, like holding my flowers and managing my dress during our first look. She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up our entire tent before the wedding, and even took care of the breakdown so we could just pick everything up the next day. We had some communication issues with our venue leading up to the wedding, but Cassie stepped in and resolved all of the details without us having to worry about a thing. If anything went wrong on the day of, we had no idea—she handled it all behind the scenes, she was so so awesome! Knowing she had it all under control gave us the peace of mind to fully enjoy our day. What truly touched us were the thoughtful extras. On my arrival, parking was easy and there were clear directions made for all attendees. When I arrived I was greeted by Justine, and assisted with my bags by others staffed by Justine to offer helping hands to my work area that was separate, clean, and spacious. My work area had amazing lighting already set up, a chair and table set up, and a personalized gift bag and refreshments waiting for me. I thought that it was above and beyond with service for her vendors. It felt good to work in an environment where I walked in with great impressions, service, and appreciation for my services rendered. I was grateful to have a setup that allowed me to work with ease and comfort. Each person who required makeup had a time slot and was on time and prepped very well. Justine did a wonderful job at making sure everyone was aware of what was going on and where we would be, if working. I appreciated her attentiveness to detail and how through her planning was executed. I also received an itinerary of the event and it was filled with beautiful moments and fun. As an attendee the setup of the event space was gorgeous. There was plenty of refreshments in a spacious and well decorated area. The food was also amazing. I loved the cultural diversity that she offered at her event to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. While I didn’t come knowing many people, because of the events and ice breaker games that we played, I left making many new acquaintances. Justine’s event was flawless and I look forward to working with her anytime and in the nearby future.

It's also important to call out that our venue wedding coordinator quit a couple of weeks before our wedding, and Eileen stepped up and swooped in to make sure our new point of contact at the venue was fully up-to-speed. We never expected to have the perfect wedding, but thanks to Kate and Jen/Green Apple, we truly had the perfect wedding for us. It was more than we could have ever dreamed of, and Kate and Jen made the process so easy. Between choosing the venue, picking the band, dealing with COVID uncertainties, actually running the show the day of, and a million other things, they were always responsive, patient, and so much fun to work with. It’s hard to know what the perfect wedding will look like ahead of time, and although we had some vague general ideas and a couple weirdly specific requests, we weren’t really sure about how it would all come together. Kate and Jen took the time to listen to us, giving us formal questions and plenty of their time to talk things out informally. It felt like they immediately got what we were saying and had ideas about how to make our wedding come to life. They were honest when they thought something might not work, and creative when we were trying to come up with solutions to an issue. All of that was so important because it could often feel really hard to plan a wedding while managing two busy careers and everything else in our lives, and it was so reassuring to know we had them making sure everything was on track. Their experience and their willingness to get to know us made everything come together that whole weekend in a way we’ll never forget. The best part about working with Kate and Jen is how much they clearly LOVE what they do, and truly feel invested in the couples that they are planning with. This really does not feel like just a job to them, and we felt so supported throughout by their warm and personal approach. We genuinely miss them so much already, and it's only been a month since our wedding.

We hired Carin to coordinate a complex wedding with a lot of custom elements designed by us and our friends and family. She did an incredible job - our guests all told us what a great time they had, and how much they loved our choices - but the execution was all Carin. Before the wedding, she listened to what we wanted and made sure to ask us everything she needed to know. Then, as the day got close, we didn't have to worry even a bit. Carin handled it all and we were able to concentrate on the ceremony. She did a great job reading the room and figuring out the logistics at the same time, so that from arrival to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, to dancing, the evening had a flow that felt organic and natural. Us newlyweds and our guests barely had to think at all. But it was because of Carin's thoughtful and sharp coordination that it felt this way. She was keeping it running behind the scenes, making all the right calls as things came up, like a trusted general in the field. It's hard to express how happy we are with how it all turned out. We'll remember this wedding the rest of our lives, and we got to do it our way, but with a level of professionalism and execution we never could have achieved by ourselves. There's not a lot of coordinators who can do that - who can honor the vision entirely but put all the pieces together. Carin made it happen. (PS - we also hired Carin's partner, Jacob, as our wedding DJ - he did a great job too, reading the room, keeping the party going, and working seamlessly with Carin to keep the flow of the party. They book separately, and you could always choose your own DJ, but we recommend Jacob highly and were glad we went with him.)

I know that’s a testament to all the hard work Raquel put in to ensure my husband and I had the best day.
