“Back in 2021, we came to view Lord Thompson Manor as our first wedding venue. Afterwards, we only went to one other venue, and decided that there were no more that we wanted to go see. Lord Thompson Manor was the one for us. We loved the uniqueness of Lord Thompson Manor, because we are not ballroom people! We are thrilled with our decision and wish we could relive the weekend over and over. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone within the Lord Thompson Manor staff was so accommodating and beyond caring and kind. The staff truly made us feel like we were family. It was so hard to leave on that Sunday! The attention to detail was immaculate and hasn't gone unnoticed. “The grounds and venue are beautiful, the food and bar service was great. The “coordinator” could of been more helpful. Guests were not directed where to go when they arrived which led to confusion. Set up and breakdown was left to the bridal party. Also beware of hidden fees day of. We paid for an open bar for 80 guests and during the reception were asked for a credit card because we reached our “bar limit”.”

“The Publick house was the perfect venue all around. We had our wedding in Paige Hall in December 2023. The seasonal decor was amazing making it feel truly like a hallmark movie. The venue is homey and the grounds are wonderfully maintained. Allison and the team pay such close attention to detail and made my vision come to life. You don’t have to worry about anything. This venue takes care of set up and take down. Your wedding cake is made in house with the baker and they are absolutely delicious! “We have now hosted both of our children's graduation parties at The Barn. The setting is absolutely magical with beautiful post and beams that soar two levels. The patio overlooking the golf course is perfect for outdoor activities such as corn hole. The food was served on time and exactly as advertised (we recommend the BBQ!). The staff was extremely helpful and diligent while remaining unobtrusive. I highly recommend this venue.”
