Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

The Anchorage, with origins back to 1800, is a Federal Telescopic Tidewater style B&B with waterfront views and three guest rooms available to the wedding party situated on the beautiful Choptank River. We offer a relaxed, peaceful and romantic experience on the shores of the river, which is part of the Chesapeake Bay waterway. The venue is nestled on 12 acres of waterfront property with forest on either side and protected wetlands.

We have 4,500 square feet of indoor space; this includes our cozy tasting room and adjacent event space. The event space also gives you access to the cupola where you’ll have a 360-degree view of the estate winery. It’s quite spectacular! We also have nearly 3,000 square feet of covered, wrap-around porch. It too, is an equally great space and overlooks various fields. You’ll often see our Grape Vine Patrol Squad (rescue dogs) out walking in the fields. We have eleven in all, and their job is to patrol the vineyards and keep out prey. They’re all friendly, enjoy meeting new people and being petted. In addition, feel free to inquire about using acreage surrounding the tasting and production facility for your private event. Gallery O on H is DC's most unique indoor-outdoor gallery and event venue. Gallery O on H is located in the Atlas District Arts and Entertainment neighborhood in the 1300 block of the historic H Street corridor. The venue smoothly integrates the original East Gallery with the newly renovated West Gallery and Garage, all connected by the beautiful Courtyard.

The Wharf Dockmaster Building is located at the end of District Pier and your rental includes the space on the pier around it. You have wrap around balconies and 270 degree views of the river and boats, plus the Washington Monument. Your rental gives you the building for the day so you can do any advance decorating, load in etc. It is unfurnished space – typically your caterer will coordinate tables, chairs etc. and help you design the look you want. Our inside capacity is typically 100 seated dinner style or 140-150 standing cocktail style.

Located in Occoquan Regional Park, The River View overlooks the Occoquan River through floor-to-ceiling windows. Whether inside or outside, your event guests can enjoy waterfront views. Our facility was newly opened in Summer 2018, with weddings specifically in mind for design.
