Potomac Point Winery is a Tuscan styled venue, nestled in the heart of Northern Virginia. Surrounded by rolling vineyards, Potomac Point is an all-season, full-service venue designed specifically for weddings. Every detail has been carefully thought out for a seamless wedding day. We’ve blended rustic charm, classic elegance, and world-class hospitality for an enchanting experience your guests will rave about and your photographer will fall in love with, making for truly remarkable wedding photos.

Perfectly situated to view spectacular sunsets, our 2,500 square foot stone patio overlooks the lush vineyard below. The connecting Humidor Hill boasts the bests views of the rolling vineyard; both spaces feature romantic string lighting.

Wine Cave & Barrel Room
Unique Cellar Spaces
Barrel Room The Barrel Room is filled with romantic ambiance. This is the perfect space for photos amongst the barrels. Brick arches and stucco walls define the room architecturally, while bronze chandeliers give it a Tuscan accent. Coyote Wine Cave The Wine Cave is another beautiful photo location which also serves as the holding room prior to your ceremony. Walk through the barrel shaped opening to exit the cave through a pair of hand-made, two-hundred-year-old chestnut doors.

The Ceremony Grounds consist of a memorable aisle to walk down with vineyard rows as your backdrop. Your procession begins in our wine cave, crosses over our chic bridge, and ends under our hand-forged pergola surrounded by greenery.

Perfect Setting for a Dream Wedding
We had our wedding at Potomac Point Winery, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the picturesque vineyard and the stunning views. Our venue coordinator, Taylor, was very detail oriented in our initial tour while deciding and gave lots of suggestions so we could picture what our day would look like. The PPW team made it so easy to make a decision and process a contract for our date. Taylor was wonderful in email communications and a very organized individual. She went with every change we made along the way, writing down and remembering each item we discussed however small or large. She was with us ever step of the way, from tour, to wine and food tasting, to final walkthrough, rehearsal, and finally she was with us on our big day making sure everything went as we had discussed. The staff was incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming, ensuring every part of the day ran smoothly. They went above and beyond to help with all our needs, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, they were knowledgeable with what other couples have done and gave great suggestions to make wedding planning as seamless as possible (e.g. floor layouts, event timeline, popular food/wine options, etc.). Additionally, their preferred vendor list made choosing other vendors so easy to work with. We did research other vendors, but in most cases we went with the preferred option and do not regret it! We loved that we were able to have access from the pergola to the ballroom (Vines to Vows) that day, having so many places to work with given options for inclement weather and if we want to change it up to match our vision. They had the best rainy day plan for us, and thankfully the weather cooperated so we did not need to use that! The food was delicious, and the wine—of course—was perfect. It’s clear that Potomac Point Winery knows how to make your day truly special. Their blog was such a useful tool in planning. Their posts on social media and their blogs about various weddings were very helpful to create a vision, determine what we wanted, and share inspo with vendors. Overall, this venue made our wedding day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more attentive team. If you’re looking for a venue that offers natural beauty, elegance, and exceptional service, Potomac Point Winery is a top choice.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, dazzling, and enchanting - it provided such an intimate setting for our special day. The staff went above and beyond, even bringing the passed hors d'oeuvres down to the grape stomping platform so we didn't have to go searching for them. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding location, and we highly recommend Potomac Point Winery & Vineyard to any couple looking for a stunning and attentive venue.

Our company performs 600-700 events per year and are preferred vendors at most of the top venues in the DMV. Potomac Point Winery is one of our absolute favorite places to work. Chelsea, Taylor, and the whole team are top notch and we know our DJs needs will be taken care of every time we walk in the door. Could not recommend enough.
