The GRPM is an exciting venue filled with never-ending inspiration and curiosity, creating a unique venue for your event. From weddings and proms, to corporate events, holiday parties, and social gatherings, the Museum transforms into an unforgettable space for you and your guests. The Museum offers a variety of rental options that can be customized for your event. With rooms available during the day for meetings or parties, to evening rentals of the first floor to the entire building.

Our private event space features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and groups up to 65 seated with an additional space of 45 seats on the patio. It’s located on the second story of our facility and has two walls of windows, east and south-facing, looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. There is also a two-sided patio that will provide additional space during the warmer months. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. There will also be a podium with a microphone for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those.
