Segnatore is a Humboldt Park Neighborhood restaurant inspired by the hidden history of the folk healers in Italy. Influenced by the anthropology in the evolution of traditional and regional Italian cooking, Segnatore's menu created by chef Matt Troost is rooted in tradition and flipped with a contemporary twist that is made to be approachable and communal dining focused. There is an emphasis on utilizing herbs and ingredients that are locally available. All bread and pasta served at Segnatore is made in-house. The beverage program designed by Natalie Smythe follows Italian traditions of using what is local, naturally available, and provides a little something for everyone. An Austrian experience in the '70s was the seed that grew into a family and friends' dream to produce local spirits. The distillery is owned and operated by Charlie and Jenny, a father-daughter team. Our special recipe and process were developed by Charlie and Stan the Man with help from experts on both sides of the Atlantic. Located in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor, our production space has an attached tasting room that could definitely host your intimate wedding, rehearsal dinner, and many other events!
