Ochre Court, the stunning historical venue located at Salve Regina University. Ochre Court holds a rich history, having been built between 1890 and 1895 as the summer residence of Ogden Goelet. It's truly a magnificent location, nestled within the heart of the picturesque Salve Regina University campus, boasting breathtaking views of the Newport Cliff Walk. The fee for a wedding reception is $30,000.00, which includes exclusive use of the building for a five-hour reception, provision of tables and chairs, setup and breakdown services, as well as dedicated wedding planning support leading up to and during the reception. All ceremonies must take place in our Chapel or off site. All couples are required to use one of our preferred caterers, Blackstone Caterers, McGraths Catering or Sodexo Campus Catering. The 1620 Winery once served as rope-braiding building when part of the historic Plymouth Cordage Company (The nations oldest and largest manufacturer of ship rigging since the early 1800’s). In 2015, Bob and Raquel Mullaney undertook a comprehensive renovation of the gorgeous historic building as a labor of love in order to restore and preserve its rugged beauty and its historic character. The project was completed in 2017 and the new 1620 Winery reopened as a fully operational Winery, wedding and events venue. The centerpiece of the Winery, our grand ballroom with its exposed brick walls, soaring beamed ceilings, wide plank floors and massive fireplace, this space creates an unforgettable setting for your celebration.Our newly-completed “Barrel Room” is a gorgeous spot for your on-site ceremony (or a smaller, more intimate reception).

Your event will be one to remember whether under our three beautiful linden trees (the biggest in Edgartown) or under a custom Sperry Tent with a large dance floor to get your Boogy on. The Captain Morse House has one of Edgartown’s largest backyards. It is almost four feet above the street grade which allows for great views down Morse St. to the harbor and west for the sunset. Photographers love our natural light at the end of the day.

Nauticus Marina was built in 1985, as one of the home bases for building/training of the American3, leading to victory of the America’s Cup in 1992. A few years after the win, the Marina was turned into a rental dock for boat lovers/owners everywhere. Eventually knowing the amazing space was being underutilized, it was finally opened to weddings and events to the public. Today we offer exclusive use of our venue for your special event including, but not limited to, weddings, brunches, birthday parties, fundraisers etc.
