Nicholas Janikies, president of the Jan Companies, a well-known and respected Rhode Island businessman, conceived the idea of a distinctive country club for Rhode Island and developed the exquisitely beautiful golf course and country club. Wedding Accomodations
Located in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, Quidnessett Country Club is an elegant wedding venue nestled along the beautiful Narragansett Bay. This country club offers a relaxing and secluded setting for your celebration.
Quidnessett Country Club comes with both beautifully-landscaped outdoor lawns and quaint indoor event spaces. Ceremonies can be held in the whimsical gardens, which abound with lush seasonal vegetation and vibrant flowers. For more nautical themed nuptials, a private terrace along the seashore is available. Any of the indoor event rooms can also be modified to suit your ceremony needs and preferences. For your reception, you can choose between the more intimate Narragansett Room and the cavernous Ballroom. The Narragansett Room seats up to 200 guests and features a private get-ready suite, a permanent dance floor, and a patio overlooking the ocean. The Ballroom accommodates up to 400 and boasts a grand foyer, glittering crystal chandeliers, a private get-ready suite, restrooms, and a separate cocktail hour space. Both of these rooms include sweeping windows with stunning views of the Bay.

With breathtaking views of the waterfront, manicured grounds, and several spacious ballrooms, the property is fully customizable for all your day-of needs. Having undergone a full renovation in 2020, the venue is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and luxurious accents that create a timeless and romantic ambiance. The Club provides tables and chairs, flatware and glassware, china, and linens for your wedding. The exceptional and detail-oriented staff will run setup and breakdown of your ceremony chairs and guide you through the wedding planning and coordination process. In addition, catering is offered in-house by the talented culinary team, who have been bringing mouth-watering dishes to club members for generations. Innovative seasonal menus are available. These come with stationary displays, action stations, chilled and warm passed hors d’oeuvres, first courses, and entrees. Dessert includes a great variety of enhancements for the cake.

Wedding
The communication from the Quidnessett Country Club staff was just okay - they were responsive but not overly helpful or personable. The venue itself is beautiful, but the value was overpriced in my opinion. The food was truly awful - the portions were small, most of it came out cold, the chicken was dry, the potatoes were burnt and undercooked, and the green beans were undercooked as well. When we brought these issues up to the staff, we got the run-around instead of a resolution. Overall, I would not recommend this venue to other couples looking to get married.
