Dr. Arthur Tracey Cabot hired noted Architect Charles Platt to design a great house, landscaped grounds, and a complex of farm and estate buildings. Platt adorned the lovely natural setting with manicured lawns, a walled garden, and a brick-edged parterre garden. In 1945, Cabot's niece Eleanor Cabot Bradley acquired Cherry Hill Farm and lived there with her husband until its bequest to The Trustees of Reservations in 1991. Mrs. Bradley made some notable additions to the property, including a greenhouse and a studio. Harry Parker Boathouse, located in Brighton, MA, hosts both indoor event spaces and an outdoor tent (40' x 70'). Located right next to the docks, the tent gives stunning views of the Charles River providing an elegant area for hosting your once-in-a-lifetime celebration. This waterfront space offers a mixture of a splendid, serene setting and a contemporary design. Contained within the boathouse is a 3,040 square-foot space called the Community Room that provides a charming place for throwing the festivities which you have always wanted to experience. This space is on the 2nd floor, and it also offers two balconies that overlook the scenic Charles River.
