I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. Hi, Thanks for reading! Here's my photography short story: 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after, I launched my wedding business. The Long Version: Weightlifting has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, & across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. During this time of transition, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography and work on documenting local stories.
