I'm a visual storyteller with a passion for capturing love in its purest form. With 10 years in the photography world and 9 years of experience in weddings, I've had the privilege of documenting countless love stories. My style is all about authenticity and emotion. I strive to freeze those genuine, fleeting moments — the laughter, the tears, the stolen glances — in a visual symphony that tells the unique tale of your love. I've always been a cheesy "lover of love." I feel lucky to document such vulnerable emotions, life-changing experiences, and really awesome parties!

For me, it's about the laughter, the joyful tears, and the surprises. The moments that you didn't plan to be captured on your wedding day. The out of the box, untraditional, let's-just-get-married weddings. More about the moment, less about the perfection.

    Alex is AMAZING. Her photos left us in awe — I was so impressed by how she listened to my vision and adapted her style accordingly. Most of all, though, Alex excels in all things related to running a business — she’s prompt in email responses, professional with her contracts and payment process, and goes above and beyond to connect you with resources for a successful day (a last minute coordinator, in my case). This is what really sets her apart from other vendors in my opinion. Run, don’t walk, to hire Alex for your wedding!

    We received all of our photos back and couldn't believe how beautiful they are! We love them all and it was so hard to pick what ones went in our album. Every single part of our day was captured so perfectly. We get to relive the day every time we look at them! Alex made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I highly recommend an engagement session as well- this was great practice and a lovely chance to get to know Alex. Extra perk- great pics for our save the dates! Alex was also just a huge help throughout the entire day. If she is not photographing you, she is behind the scenes assisting to make sure every detail is perfect. She goes above and beyond her role. She's just the best person and photographer! We had the best time working with her and will recommend her over and over again to our friends.

    As a wedding florist, I've had the pleasure of working with some extremely talented and gifted photographers throughout the years and certainly have my favorites. Alex from White Poppy weddings is for sure one of them. She is kind, genuine, very easy to work with and I LOVE that she has an eye for not only only capturing the tender and important moments, but the beautiful details that tell the story of the day. I am always excited to work with Alex, whether it be a styled shoot or a wedding because I know the vibe of the day will be easygoing and fun and the photos are going to be GOOD!! I could not recommend this sweet, talented gal enough.
