You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.
As a shy human myself, it’s important to me to foster a safe space for ALL of your humanity. Whether you struggle to feel comfy in front of a camera or just aren’t sure how to talk to a stranger, I’ll do my best to help lighten the mood and maybe, just maybe, we’ll both make a new friend.

Jessica is amazing! I don’t even know how to begin expressing my gratitude for her and her work. Hiring Jess was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, period! From the first time we met, Jess showed genuine care, attention, and excitement about who we are and our special day. Our work kicked off together during an engagement shoot at Coney Island. She went above and beyond-driving 5 hours from the Hudson Valley to meet us at our dream location. We spent the night together, and she never made us feel like we were on the clock. Jess is truly so generous with her time. Our wedding day was of course, even more special. Taking photos with my husband, Jess, and her brilliant second shooter were some of the best moments of our day. Jess went above and beyond her role of photographer - making sure our special people looked tidy, keeping us all on schedule, and ensuring we were well fed and hydrated throughout the day. What really stood out is the care she showed for my loved ones: a family member with autism, and my 97-year-old grandma; having adjusted the schedule to accommodate them. We received a highlights gallery within days of our wedding, and the full album within 2 months (gratefully before Thanksgiving so we could reminisce over the holiday with our loved ones). Before our wedding, I walked through my Pinterest board with Jess. I see so much of what we discussed shine through in our photos. I am so impressed with Jess' attention to detail and diversity in portfolio - from documentary style to editorial shots. Finally, Jess has great knowledge of our venue, Bear Mountain Inn and the accompanying state park. She took us to incredible hidden pockets in the woods, and navigated to the more heavily trafficked viewpoints with expertise. We are so grateful to Jess for capturing our day with so much warmth and love. Hiring Jess is the best decision you'll make in wedding planning! 3

Where do I even begin with Jessica? From our initial meeting straight through our wedding day Jessica has been amazing. The work that she does can speak for itself. Jessica captures photos that are posed and candid with a simple ease. We have gone through our wedding photos and anyone that looks at them can feel the love that we have for one another. Jessica makes you feel comfortable when you are working with her. I hate being in front of the camera but with Jessica capturing our special moments all one can be is comfortable. On your wedding day when Jessica says if anyone messes with you not to worry for she will fight the fight. If something goes wrong she finds a way to make it right. If you are a selfless person she will tell you that you have every right to be selfish. Jessica made our wedding journey relaxed when it came to the photography. She also knows how to pick just the right second shooter for your event. Thank you for picking Emily for ours. I tell all the couples that I work with at my job to book the vendors that you click with; be comfortable with them. It makes a big difference. Mike and I can truly say that Jessica is a wedding super hero and along this journey we are proud to call her FRIEND!!!
