I am Vicki Weed, yes, that is my real name. I have been a wedding only florist in the Hudson Valley for over 30 years. I love flowers and weddings more than you can imagine! I only book a limited number of weddings per year, to ensure my clients get the attention they deserve. I strive to deliver the freshest flowers from local and wholesale growers. I also lend or rent containers, props and decor - to keep costs and the imprint on the environment as low as possible. I would love to create the floral of your dreams!

I only do weddings. Becoming a wedding-only florist happened on accident. After leaving the corporate advertising world, becoming a wedding and event planner seemed liked a natural step. Trying to find a retail florist that catered to weddings was absolutely impossible … well, necessity is the mother of invention. That was over 30 years ago, I have never looked back.

    From the moment I met Vicki from Deja Vu Floral I knew I was in good hands. She immediately understood my vision for a simply, cozy winter wedding (January 2024) and offered expert advice on how to bring it to life. Her knowledge of seasonal blooms and color palettes was impressive, and she was able to suggest stunning floral arrangements that perfectly complemented our venue. Her knowledge and easy demeanor put me at ease and I didn't consider anyone else after speaking to her.  The day of the wedding, the floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking. My bridal bouquet was even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and it was the perfect accessory to my wedding dress. The centerpieces, which were actually runners so that my guests could actually see and speak to each other, were elegant and eye-catching, and the ceremony flowers were simply stunning.  What truly sets Vicki and Deja Vu apart is her professionalism and dedication to her clients. She was incredibly responsive, always available to answer questions and address any concerns. She was also very flexible and accommodating, working with us to create a custom floral package that fit our budget. I cannot recommend Deja Vu highly enough. Vicki's talent, creativity, and professionalism made our wedding day truly unforgettable.     We were lucky enough to have Vicki and her team do our floral arrangements for our wedding. From the beginning she was awesome and made a detailed list of everything we wanted included and stuck to our budget. We spoke several times leading up to our wedding and the day of everything was perfect, it was better than we could have imagined. She was around at the hotel and before the reception to help out with any changes. We highly recommend Vicki and Deja Vu Floral for your wedding if you are looking for someone who is professional, fun, detail oriented, and very easy to get along with.     When choosing a florist for the wedding I was between Vicki and one other person until I had my first meeting with Vicki and I was hooked! Vicki is to fun, passionate, thoughtful, and kind. Anytime we spoke it was like hanging out with a friend. I was never stressed about florals for the wedding and the other vendors for the wedding who had worked with Vicki had nothing but love and praise. I was floored when the flowers were dropped off at the bridal suite. Everyone was gushing over how beautiful they were and it was a focal point of guest commentary throughout the night. I can't tell you how many people still talk about how much they loved the flowers. I almost want to get married again just so I can keep working with Vicki. I can't recommend Deja Vu Floral Design enough.
