I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Hiring Allie as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! As a queer, interracial couple with a super diverse group of friends and family, we were nervous about finding someone who would respect and celebrate us, but Allie was exactly what we needed and more. From start to finish, she made sure we felt supported, seen, and, most importantly, stress-free. Allie stepped in two weeks before the wedding and immediately took over all the vendor communication, making sure everything was handled so we could just enjoy the process. She didn’t just manage logistics—she managed everything: family drama (ugh, lifesaver), unexpected changes due to Hurricane Milton, and even the fact that most of our bridal party couldn’t make it. Somehow, she filled in the gaps so seamlessly that we barely noticed anything was missing. What stood out the most was how personal she made the experience. She took the time to learn everyone’s names, stayed calm and chill no matter what, and listened to us when we were stressed, always reminding us to focus on each other. Allie kept the day running at our pace, gave us time to be together, and even made sure we looked great in all our photos. She coordinated everything down to the details we cared about most, like our private last dance and getting all the shots we wanted. She was laid-back yet professional, blending in perfectly with the vibe of our wedding while carrying out our vision flawlessly. Despite the hurricane and a 2-hour drive to get to us, Allie didn’t skip a beat, reworking things as needed and keeping everything on track. I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. Literally the second after I got engaged, my mom sent me Andi's contact information, which she received from a mutual friend that had high praise praise for Musa Weddings. In a few days, Andi and I had set up a call and were signing a contract to work together. Whereas, the other planners that I contacted never got back to me. From our first conversation on, Andi and her team were a pleasure and joy to work with. They answered every little question we had, always checked in to ask how we were doing when we sounded stressed, was quick to respond, and was extremely organized. I quickly realized that I would've be lost without her. Her team recommended every vendor, created every timeline, kept up on track in our budget, and so much more. It was such a weight off of our shoulders to know that every vendor her team recommended, were people that she worked with consistently, so we knew they were trustworthy and would provide quality services. During the planning process, we had some requests that were really important to us and she made it all come together so seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, she moved everything along, checked in with vendors, kept the group organized, and made sure everything was running smoothly. She even took some BTS photos and videos to share with us that was amazing to see the next day. Her team was there with me the entire day, while Andi organized the vendors and event space, to support me. I feel like normally you hear people talk about at least one thing going wrong, but I never felt that way. The day after our wedding, I woke up being unable to think of a single thing that went wrong. Our day was truly magical and it was all thanks to Musa. Brooke is an absolute gem and I feel so lucky that we were referred to her. I told her early on that I did not expect to personally have any fun on my wedding day, and all because of Brooke, I had without a doubt, the best day of my entire life. What a phenomenal way to kick of our marriage. We went back and forth on getting a planner, but finally decided that having a day-of coordinator would probably alleviate a lot of stress. Brooke went above and beyond what we expected from a day-of, always offering to take on tasks that seemed too overwhelming for us (finding shuttles, hotel blocks). She was responsive and routinely checked in on us formally and informally. Imagine our shock when we learned she was giving us so much attention and professionalism while she was in the middle of planning her OWN wedding just months before our date! If she was stressed by that, she never showed it, and she even offered us some advice based on her own personal experiences. I had never been in a wedding so I was not at all privy to what goes into planning. Brooke was totally on board with shirking some traditions while prioritizing what we valued most (sentimentality, personalization, guest experience). She made suggestions, but never made us feel pressured to do anything. I wanted full control over several aspects of the wedding and she never made me feel like I was not capable or stupid for, say, wanting to do my own flowers. During our meetings, she was organized and efficient and I always felt better after speaking with her. She made an effort to get in contact with all of our vendors and important people so that everyone could be on the same page for the weekend. She had never done a wedding at our venue (the Ithaca Farmers Market) and made an effort to acquaint herself with the space and (very thorough) procedures beforehand. Brooke is not only professional, flexible, and organized, She is also exactly the person you want with you on your wedding day. I have 2 ways of responding to stress – being a goof and being a snappy, rude b**** and Brooke responded to both with total grace and kindness. She gave me the space to crack jokes during the rehearsal, certainly dragging out the process, which made me feel like it was still OUR wedding and not someone else’s idea of a wedding. If something wasn’t going exactly the way I wanted (e.g. my dad forgot something important at the hotel), I would often take out my frustration on Brooke who would receive it, speak kindly to me, and smile (when what I really deserved sometimes was a slap). She has a way of making you feel seen, heard, and safe, which is exactly what you need when everyone’s eyes are on you. And it was not just me, everyone totally adored her and appreciated her presence. What was really important to me, is that to the extent there were any mistakes/miscommunications (inevitable!) Brooke always took accountability and never tried to redirect blame (even if it was not hers to accept). I really respect this in a person and did not find a ton of it in the wedding planning industry otherwise. Overall, Brooke listens, works super hard, treats you like a dear friend, lets you be yourself.

Beloved Getaways was the best decision we made in planning our destination wedding to the Bahamas!! Mindi took such good care of us and our guests. From setting travel arrangements & accommodations to making sure everyone had their travel documents and itinerary, Mindi helped everyone get the biggest bang for their buck and take all the stress out of planning an international trip; things could not have gone more smoothly! She was a fantastic liaison for us with the resort; she helped us plan the ceremony, etc..., and even helped us organize an amazing off-property excursion for our whole wedding party the next day. My partner and I began our journey with Syrie as our wedding planner back in the fall of 2020, and we can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We started with a selected venue but little else. Syrie, with her organized approach and expertise, transformed our vague ideas into a stunning wedding reality. She took our abstract descriptions and envisioned a day that was far beyond what we thought we wanted – it was what we dreamed of. Despite our extended planning cycle, Syrie was a constant presence, always checking in to ensure that our preparations were on track. As a couple living in New York City, we appreciated having local "boots on the ground" throughout the planning process. Her deep connections within the Buffalo wedding industry became priceless when our original our venue, Hotel Henry, unexpectedly shut down. Syrie saw the writing on the wall weeks before their fall and organized tours of alternative venues – a task outside our agreed-upon package. We ended up choosing The Admiral Room, a venue we hadn't initially considered, but it turned out to be a gem. Its grandeur resonated with us perfectly – yet another testament to Syrie's understanding of our tastes and preferences. Syrie's expertise also shone when it came to vendor selection. She provided a plethora of options for each service, letting us evaluate different styles and approaches. Each vendor we chose delivered impeccable service, with a special shout-out to Tori Vee who created an extraordinary musical ambiance. Syrie is an impressive organizational powerhouse. Having her as our planner allowed us to focus on savoring every moment of our special day. Her efficient staff resolved a minor hiccup with a vendor within half an hour – we barely noticed it had happened. Our experience with Syrie was nothing short of magnificent. She guided us through a daunting process with grace, expertise, and foresight. So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.
