Stone Park Cafe, which opened in September 2004, was the longtime dream of owners Josh Foster and Josh Grinker, childhood friends who grew up in Park Slope. In 2011, the pizzeria located right next door to Stone Park Cafe’s kitchen on the 3rd Street side of the restaurant became available, and Josh Foster jumped at the chance to develop a private party venue to operate alongside the restaurant. We created this space to allow our community a quiet space among plants, birds, insects, and urban wildlife. Carroll Hall is a warehouse space, garden, lounge, a skylit indoor room, catering kitchen, and discreet wooden “treehouse.” Discovery, wonder, and the unexpected are big themes.
