“Charlene flawlessly executed my sister’s large wedding at a private residence. She streamlined and organized countless vendors, including chefs, a full kitchen and bar staff, set up, break down, cleaners, valet, police detail, decor, etc. Not only did she juggle all of the typical wedding planning tasks and more, but she went above and beyond to find creative ways to decorate and incorporate fun and new ideas. “Hiring Dhalia Events was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. I am skeptical of the wedding industry in general, but I am convinced that wedding coordinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience? Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of: 1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand. 2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick. 3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out. 4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine. 5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert). 6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception. 7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside. 8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes. 9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later. All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED. I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person. Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.”

“We truly felt that Abby was the MVP at our wedding. She made sure that the night went smoothly and she quickly remedied any problems that arose. The biggest problem that arose was that my train (which was probably over 10 feet long) got stuck in the car door on the way to the ceremony, and it was a rainy day. When I arrived at the venue I opened the door to find my train completely muddied up and soaking wet. I was devastated. It was ruined. We hired Cassie just a few months before our big day after having some communication issues with our venues coordinators, and from the moment she joined, she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. “We came to Grace right after we decided to go with a venue that nothing more than tables and chairs. Our heads were spinning with all the decisions we had to make, and Grace made sure to organize our ideas, as well as have a running list of things we needed to decide on and execute. She also was certain to make sure that we were focusing on what would make the day best for us, and not to please other people. That honesty and extra care went a long way. On top of saving our heads from falling off in the planning process, on the day of the wedding, we decided to switch the ceremony from outside to inside due to the wind. Grace made this happen swiftly, and even though things didn't go perfectly, Grace made sure that all the vendors were doing their job and truly I didn't find out about any mishaps until the next day. We had the best day thanks to Grace's attention, care, and diligence. Above all, Grace is just a good, caring person that truly wants you to have a seamless event. “Eileen was amazing as our wedding planner / month-of coordinator. Both my husband and I were SO glad we hired her. Eileen helped us make so many decisions during the planning process that led to an extremely smooth wedding day - from where the bar was located to how we processed down the aisle, from whether to do cake or a dessert bar, to when champagne was poured - she really nailed it. She also worked with all of our vendors to coordinate setup and was onsite to help make sure everything was set up correctly & as planned. Everyone jokes that something *always* goes wrong on your wedding day, no matter how much you plan, but really we had nothing go wrong thanks to Eileen! She made our day stress-free! It's also important to call out that our venue wedding coordinator quit a couple of weeks before our wedding, and Eileen stepped up and swooped in to make sure our new point of contact at the venue was fully up-to-speed. She did an incredible job - our guests all told us what a great time they had, and how much they loved our choices - but the execution was all Carin. Before the wedding, she listened to what we wanted and made sure to ask us everything she needed to know. Then, as the day got close, we didn't have to worry even a bit. Carin handled it all and we were able to concentrate on the ceremony. She did a great job reading the room and figuring out the logistics at the same time, so that from arrival to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, to dancing, the evening had a flow that felt organic and natural. Us newlyweds and our guests barely had to think at all. But it was because of Carin's thoughtful and sharp coordination that it felt this way. She was keeping it running behind the scenes, making all the right calls as things came up, like a trusted general in the field. It's hard to express how happy we are with how it all turned out. We'll remember this wedding the rest of our lives, and we got to do it our way, but with a level of professionalism and execution we never could have achieved by ourselves. There's not a lot of coordinators who can do that - who can honor the vision entirely but put all the pieces together. Carin made it happen. (PS - we also hired Carin's partner, Jacob, as our wedding DJ - he did a great job too, reading the room, keeping the party going, and working seamlessly with Carin to keep the flow of the party. They book separately, and you could always choose your own DJ, but we recommend Jacob highly and were glad we went with him.)”

And while Raquel did handle the smaller details, she also did so much more.
