Absolutely stunning venue. The wedding went amazing with the help of Julie and Olivia along with the staff at Seven Ponds on our wedding day. The day was seamless and taking advantage of staying on site made the day feel stress free. It was great to have food and drink covered with the venue as this was one less vendor that could have caused stress on the big day! Planning forms were helpful to make sure all things were covered and things went according to plan. Only thing with the planning process is it seemed as if Seven Ponds tried to upsell everything and questioned some of our decisions although after talking to them, a compromise came about. Couldn’t have been happier to pick the venue for our special day and we will remember the beauty of the venue forever.

Our wedding was this past September, and it was everything we could’ve asked for and more. Tricia and Marty both made it so easy during the entire process from booking and planning to the day of, they were so helpful, and took care of everything for us. The day flowed so smoothly with absolutely no issues whatsoever. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves, and her and her crew ( who were also incredible!) handled everything for us and made for an amazing night. The landscape, flowers and decorations were beautiful, made for some very very nice pictures! We got a nothing but positive feedback about the location, the views, the food, everything. the bridal suite was perfect to get ready and hide in prior to the ceremony. She also took some incredible photos for us. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I hope we see them again for another wedding!

I cannot day enough good things about Mountainville manor. We had an elopement ceremony and pictures on the property. We could not have been happier and luckier to have found this venue. The whole process was simple and although it was an elopement with just the two of us, the owner Lauren, made it feel so special. The bouquet that was included in the elopement package was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The grounds are immaculately kept w beautiful landscaping. The newly remodeled interior is as beautiful. There is a beautiful bridal and grooms room. The bride room includes a full bathroom w a shower. The owner, Lauren was very attentive and made sure we had water and a bite to eat as well as offering to go to the store in the event we forgot something. She was extremely accommodating and and made sure our vision was executed and really wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

The now "annual" Stissing House Craft Feast has made holiday shopping fun, festive, inspiring and very low stress. From the minute you step into their signature green door, you feel transformed to another time. And suddenly the only reason to have a cell phone is to take photos of every incredibly gorgeous vignette. You have no choice but to be present and to indulge the senses as you take each step through the maze of decorated display and historic architecture. Carolers, trays of wonderful treats and smells and smiles all made for the most perfect and unique experience. The event was so seamless organized and curated. Hats off to Clare and Katie and the team!!! A personal thank you to them for the endless hours that it took to bring this amazing community event to our valley for all of us to enjoy. You made my Christmas season (yet again!).

We truly had the best wedding ever hosted at Mill Creek cater. The staff went out of their way from the beginning of planning through the day of to make sure we had everything that we needed and make sure our day was perfect. They always had a Plan B and they were so on it that we never even had to stress on our wedding day!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue and management from Curry Estate. The sisters that own this venue truly made my husband and I feel like a part of their family. There was constant communication from booking to wedding day, with a year and a half in between. The grounds are beautiful and everyone at Curry Estate acted with intention to make our day the most amazing day that it was. We would recommend this venue to anyone a million times over. The planning, food, staff and day of coordination couldn't have been better. Our guests continue to tell us how amazing the day was and it is without a doubt a result of the wonderful team that runs and owns this venue.

Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Grand Oak Villa on 11/17/23 and could not have asked for a better experience. From the start of our wedding planning experience, Angela and Tarin were absolutely amazing. They made my husband and I feel so welcome and treated us like family from the very beginning. About eight months before the wedding I tore my ACL and had surgery and Tarin even checked in with me to see how the surgery went and wish me well. As we got closer to the wedding, the girls made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They checked with us about our other vendors, gave us some advice, and helped us double and triple check all of our information right up to the day of the wedding. They reduced our wedding planning stresses by so much!!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of our wedding, the food was beyond delicious, and all of the staff were so kind and friendly. Our personal server, Diana, was truly the star of the show on wedding day. She checked in with us at the exact right time, every time. She never made us feel like she was interrupting, but she was always there right when we needed her. And our drinks were never empty! We truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Oak Villa and the lovely staff there. They really felt like family. Every single one of our guests remarked that the food was incredible, drinks were made perfectly, and the staff was so kind. Angela even personally greeted our parents the night of the wedding. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!

Working with the team at the Ethan Allen hotel was so easy. They made our special day as stress free as possible. Joseph was so responsive and helped with all of my questions throughout the process from start to finish. Minnie also was so great with getting the hotel room block set. The banquet manager Greg made everything run smoothly the day of. The space really transformed for our wedding and was so affordable for amazing quality. Food also was delish! Our photographer was also able to get some really beautiful photos inside and outside of the hotel for some really unique shots that we love! The Ethan Allen is your one place for everything !!

The Basilica is a one-of-a-kind space. If you are trying to avoid having a cookie-cutter wedding, this is the place for you. The staff has seen this venue set up in MANY different ways and can make anything you imagine come to life. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. The best part is that there are zero time restrictions on the space. Which for us, meant an after-party until 3am :)

He is so sincere and thoughtful and has the best tips and tricks for wedding planning. I never hired a wedding planner and I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning of my planning process but Paul was there every step of the way for me. He answered all my emails filled with dumb questions and he advised me in the best way. Carole, my wedding coordinator at the venue, was an absolute gem as well and made things so easy. My wedding was 11/16/24 (the last wedding of their season!) and I still have guests telling me how fantastic everything was. Especially the FOOD. I truly dream about the filet mignon and tiramisu we had about twice a week lol. I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. I would have my next birthday party here just so I can see Paul and Carole again and eat more of the delicious food lol. The location is GORGEOUS and they truly made my wedding the best night of my entire life.

My husband and I got married at the Waterview on 9/2/23. From the moment we stepped foot into the Waterview on our tour, we knew we had to get married here and it was without a doubt the best choice we could make for our wedding. From pre planning to the day, the staff was kind, attentive, and organized. We felt very well taken care of and our day ran so smoothly thanks to our event coordinator, Zuleika. They take care of so many details for us and decreased wedding planning stress by 10 fold. Not to mention the place is stunning and the property is perfectly manicured and photo ready. I was one of few original wedding photographers to capture Abbey Inn's grand opening commercial photo shoot. I was extremely impressed by not only the polite construction and staff at the facility, but also how they had EVERYTHING figured out for large scale weddings and events to take place at their location. They have stunning-luxury hotel rooms & suites, a restaurant, bar and lounge space, gorgeous views of the Hudson valley, a cathedral -aesthetic ceremony and reception hall, lush gardens and lawns, plenty of parking, JUST A PERFECT SPOT for weddings and events so travel isn't an issue. We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.

We had our daughter's wedding reception in October at the Patterson Club and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was. From start to finish the entire experience was terrific. Lindsey and Louise were amazing! They made our daughter's dream wedding a reality by listening to our ideas and offering suggestions based on their extensive experience. They were personable, professional and super easy to work with. The end result was a flawlessly executed reception with outstanding food and service. They guided us through menu planning, including tastings of hors-d'oeuvres, entrees and wine selections-no worries about people leaving hungry as portions were generous. Our guests were so impressed with the quality of the food, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the overall beauty of the venue. My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!

Weeks later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Mansion! It was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to luxurious facilities, not to mention the stunning views. We had the pleasure of working with Alexandra(Alex) we could not have asked for a better person! Alex knew all of our family members and bridal party’s names, and was extremely personable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night. She brought me a snack before the ceremony and continuously brought me my water all day and night (without me asking)They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout your entire day and their top notch team(along with our caterer David Alan) ensured that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. In the early stages of planning we worked with Jessica Hess and she is extremely helpful and communicative. The mansion truly felt like home for the day. We hosted our ceremony on the vista , cocktail hour was on the terrace, and we had dinner in the East ballroom. Guests were in awe of the estate (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), and how every detail was perfectly executed. Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.
