Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. Rushmore Estate was built in 1908 by Charles Rushmore for his dear wife. Fast-forward to today, the estate sits on 50 private acres with four private suites and is a gorgeous wedding wedding venue.
