    It was an absolute gift working with DM Events & Design on our daughter's June wedding in East Hampton! During the year of planning, Dawn and Em exhibited deep knowledge of the industry, relevant vendors and the area. Their level of organization and wisdom around things we never would have thought of and their ability to anticipate scenarios was remarkable. They were unfailing upbeat and reliable and patient when indicated. Their design ideas and vision were gorgeous and they also demonstrated the ability to truly partner on aesthetics. We enjoyed every interaction with Dawn and Em and really looked forward to our meetings. It was hard to say "goodbye" and we recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. They are the best!

    It’s a tall order to meet a kinder person than Dawn. As her colleague and friend, I’ve been fortunate to experience her talents in both a professional and personal setting. The best way I can describe Dawn is that she gives it her all—whether it be a 300 person wedding or an intimate dinner with friends. Her talents as an event planner come from who she is—a passionate soul who is fueled by creating unique experiences to share with others, delighted by beautiful design, and with an infectious love for life.     DM Events planned our 200-person black tie wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden this fall. From the moment I first spoke to Dawn Goldsmith, I felt at ease. She is a true visionary and a powerhouse. Dawn kept not just me, but my husband, our families and our budget(!!), on track from our very first phone call to the end of the wedding night. She and her team are kind, thoughtful, sensitive to their clients’ preferences, and extremely responsive. Putting aside all of the variable twists and turns that came with the era of COVID-weddings (which were navigated with ease), Dawn designed and planned an absolutely picture perfect event that exceeded all expectations. She has impeccable taste and a way of articulating and evolving my vision better than I could. Her design-minded approach is something that was really important to me when selecting a planner – no detail too small! Regarding the day of, Dawn’s team is a well-oiled machine. If there were any hiccups (there weren’t), neither I nor my guests would have been any the wiser. It was smooth sailing. My family and I had guests approaching throughout the wedding, as well as a flood of texts and calls following the big day, saying things like “This is the nicest wedding I’ve ever been to” and “the quintessential New York City wedding”. Literally, the perfect day. Dawn Goldsmith is a total pro and a blessing to work with.
