Jesse and Justin have been playing music together since they met performing in a band at Disneyland in 2001. After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

Jesse and Justin pride themselves in their broad repertoire of styles from classical, to pop, to folk, to jazz. Between the two of them they play piano, guitar, banjo, sax, clarinet, flute, ukulele., and Justin is a great singer. Justin also loves stepping into the DJ/MC role for receptions, so they can provide music for the whole day. Also, their clients don't have to pay or deal with an agency. This makes them able to provide direct communication and lower pricing to all their couples.

Skylark Music brought the PARTY - truly the most fun I’ve ever had at any wedding and not just saying that because it was my own. Justin and Jesse were wonderful to work with; from our easygoing initial outreach to finalizing the timeline and setlist. On the day of, Skylark provided the most beautiful live ceremony music which added a touch of class I was looking for. Justin switched to DJ/MC for the reception and the dance floor was packed all night! We had some unique song requests which Justin indulged, and did a fantastic job reading the crowd’s vibe. Everyone was commenting on how great the music was and it truly brought our wedding day to the next level. My absolute favorite part of the entire day was our giant conga line to “Love Train” to close out the night - I’ll never forget that moment and owe it to Skylark! If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and all around talented duo, I can’t recommend Skylark enough.

We can't thank Justin and Skylark Music enough for creating the perfect soundtrack for our wedding and turning our vision into a magical day! From the start, it was an absolute joy to work with Justin. He was communicative, organized, and so easy to collaborate with during the planning process. On the wedding day, he went above and beyond, even assisting with small but important details like pushing rainwater off the tent during the ceremony (we had several rainstorms throughout our wedding). Despite the weather, our guests couldn't stop raving about the music, and it was clear they had a blast on the dance floor. The day was truly unforgettable, and we are so grateful for Justin and Skylark Music!

Skylark Music provided the perfect soundtrack for our wedding day. Their communication style was efficient, easy, and quick - they responded promptly to emails and phone calls, making planning a breeze. The quality and value was fantastic - they have a unique sound with very talented musicians. They went above and beyond to personalize elements for us, learning our nephew's favorite song to play as he walked down the aisle as ring bearer. Their flexibility was also greatly appreciated - they seamlessly added a third instrument and player to transform into a trio for the reception. We were so pleased with their professionalism and musicality. If you're looking for musicians that will help create special memories on your big day, I highly recommend Skylark Music.

We loved working with Justin. He took the time to understand what we wanted for our vibe and understood the assignment! The ceremony music was beautiful, and he had plenty of options to choose from if you do not have a specific song in mind. As a dj, he kept people dancing and we know our guests had a great time!
