My name is DJ Al Boogs I am a professional DJ with over 15 years in the music industry and over 350 weddings under my belt. I attended Scratch Academy founded by the legendary DJ Jam Master Jay of the iconic Run DMC. As a professional DJ and music producer I have worked with many mainstream artists and companies such as Nick Cannon, Akon, 50 cent, Backstreet Boys, Ashanti, Day 26, Def Jam records, BET, MTV and more. As a music producer as well I have a vast knowledge of music theory and multi genres ranging from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Reggae, Latin and today's Top 40.

My Hospitality degree plus my musical talent equal a stress free, fun and successful event for all my customers. Weather you want me to customize a playlist for you or you have your own my job is to make sure your event is one your guess will talk about and remember for years. I specialize is all types of events. Weddings, Corporate events, Sweet Sixteens, Birthday Parties, Graduations, Anniversaries etc... you name it we can do it.     Dj Al boogs far exceeded my expectations for my wedding. He had the people on the dance floor enjoying themselves all night. He came early had everything set up, even came to meet up with me before the reception as to triple check everything was right so he could do his absolute best work and his vibe was incredible. His communication before our day was great too he always responded and swiftly. On top of making our special day even more special I had the opportunity to speak with him after my celebration and he is an overall great person with passion. He is definitely going to be my go to DJ for any future celebrations we may have.

    I was in a bind!! I had a DJ scheduled for my wedding but ultimately had to go in a different direction. I then found Al on Zola within 2 weeks of my wedding and was so happy that I did. Al was prompt when I reached out with inquiries and was able to answer every single question that I had. Al was very communicative and was diligent in making sure he knew which songs to play when. He also inquired about my must haves and my do-not-plays, which I'm so grateful for. I was very clear that the music was a crucial component to our wedding and that I'm very particular about music. Al just got me!! He knew exactly what I was looking for and how to make sure to get the crowd going! My husband and I appreciated Al's attention to detail as it related to our eclectic music tastes. He also understood the crowd and our dance floor was packed all night. We simply didn't want the party to end. I have so much gratitude to express to Al for making our special day that much more incredible by creating the soundtrack for our wedding that will not live in my memories forever!

    Al Boogs Productions was an excellent choice for our wedding entertainment. Their communication was fast, reliable, and friendly throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and value was top-notch - their equipment was nice, they were timely, and they really delivered on what we wanted. Al arrived early to set up and was very flexible, with a loud and clear voice when he served as our MC. He paid close attention to our music playlist and didn't try to impose his own DJ skills, instead playing the songs we specifically requested. Al also surprised us with a couple of fun line dancing songs that got the crowd going. Overall, Al Boogs Productions was cool, professional, and helped make our wedding day truly special.
