At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. Welcome to our gorgeous industrial-chic mill space! Located on the grounds of an old shoe manufacturer, our space has a rich history that we're proud to showcase. We're a refreshingly modern & adaptable gathering space that can be intimate and hold up to ~250 guests. Neighboring Distillery, lodging onsite, .5 mile access to downtown, and just a 9-minute drive to the airport. Vendor Flexibility, 20’ ceilings, No Drink or Food Minimum, Food Truck Access and Catering Prep Kitchen. We provide a safe and joyful space for everyone to come together, hosting multicultural celebrations, embracing same-sex weddings, and collaborating with BIPOC partners and vendors to create meaningful experiences for all.

We have two banquet rooms. The larger of the two, the Berkshire room, has a capacity of 100-350 (minimum of 150 on a Saturday and 100 on any other day of the week). The smaller of the two, the Westfield room, has a capacity of 50-150 people (minimum of 100 people on a Saturday and 50 any other day of the week). We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.
