When we went to go look at this location, I had not realized that this amazing venue was right in a location that I drive past all the time. As soon as I walked in, I was stunned. They were very helpful and was very quick with responses. The day of my wedding, I was stress-free and I will forever recommend for anyone to have their wedding there.

My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!

We spent many weekends visiting venues and when we stepped into Wildflower on Watts we immediately knew that it was the one. Their entire property is meticulously designed from their landscaping to the barn architecture. Start to finish the experience was as amazing as their property. Bethany, who runs Wildflower, is the sweetest and kindest person I’ve ever worked with, which is something that was shared with all of our vendors and anyone that spoke with her. She helped us throughout the process and was incredibly patient with all of the little things we asked her about. The day of the wedding was perfect and we utilized everything they offered. We had an amazing landscaped backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour then enjoyed the night with dinner and dancing in their barn. Everything was perfect and couldn’t recommend this venue more. Thank you!

Our wedding was originally planned for May of 2020. Pre-COVID, Ashley was very communicative and answer every question timely making us elated with our venue of choice. Once COVID hit we had to adjust our wedding timeline to July. Ashley went above and beyond to help us make all accommodation changes. She kept us informed of protocol and helped us ensure we could still have our wedding while following all safety measures needed for COVID. While our wedding had many bumps, none of them were because of the Anthracite Center and if we needed a redo, we would chose them over and over again.

When we first visited The Springs at Takach's Grove, we were blown away by the beauty of the grounds, as well as how friendly and helpful both Beth and Steve Takach were. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a spacious and inviting atmosphere, and plenty of photo options! Our food was amazing and Jim at Fireside Martini Grill was very professional and easy to work with. Even when the weather took an unexpected turn, they had us covered! The wonderful staff went above and beyond to ensure all of our guests were comfortable. They were attentive to our every need, making sure our day ran seamlessly, down to every last detail. We never had to worry about a thing and we cannot recommend them enough! We are so grateful to the whole team at The Springs at Takach's Grove for making our wedding day truly perfect.

We had a Fall wedding at Seminary Hill and I couldn't recommend this venue more! The view is STUNNING. The house is perfect. The guest house is an absolute bonus (we invited close friends to stay next door). And the folks at Seminary Hill are a pleasure to work with, especially the property manager Bill. He was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. He helped us wrangle vendors before the wedding, he helped with setup and when any issues arose the day before, and he was just all-around a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so enjoyable and he was also instrumental to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly. We really couldn't recommend this venue more.

We loved having our wedding at Montdale Country Club! Their communication was always fast and efficient over text, which made planning a breeze. The venue itself was simply gorgeous, with a spacious patio and gazebo overlooking the lake that made for beautiful photos and an unforgettable reception. The staff helped set up and take down decorations, and provided excellent customer service to us and our guests throughout the event. The food was delicious - all our guests were raving about it! Our guests also could not stop talking about what an amazing wedding it was. Between the gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and helpful staff, Montdale really helped make our wedding day special and run so smoothly. We highly recommend them for any couple's big day!

We didn’t go into our wedding with many clear ideas, but I had a clear “vibe” for the venue that I was looking for. We visited dozens of places and were about to give up when someone from a local restaurant told us to check out Magnolia. Thank god we did – I walked in and started tearing up. We didn’t have an appointment, but they gave us a tour anyway, and we fell in love. Although you can’t see it from the road, the moment you step inside Magnolia feels like you’ve entered a beautiful hidden forest glen. The only word we could think of to describe it, and the word we heard over and over from our guests, was “magical”. Everyone we met and worked with at Magnolia was great, but Cheyenne is truly amazing. By the end of the wedding day, it felt like we had gained a family member. She is so kind, thoughtful, creative, and fun. We called her with big problems and small questions and just curious thoughts, and each time she treated the conversation as the highest priority. She went out of her way to make sure our day was exactly how we pictured it, from finding us a local taco truck (and taste testing them for us!) to securing last minute umbrellas when the weather suddenly shifted. We called a lot of vendors, but after speaking with them, almost always ended up going with Cheyenne’s recommendation – we liked them best! And from food, to photography & videography, to music, we were happy with how everything turned out. Shout out to Love & Light, Mackey, and DJ Ruben! It did rain the day-of, but it only added to the beautiful scenery, the experience, and even the photos. The pavilion added plenty of cover for the majority of the night and Cheyenne coolly handled all wrinkles that appeared. We got married last year in June, and it’s taken a while to write this review, in part because it doesn’t quite feel like we can ever find the words to truly express our gratitude and appreciation for Cheyenne and Magnolia. Thank you for making our day feel as magical as we do when we’re together. Can’t wait to come back for our anniversary each year!

We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The Arnold House encompasses everything we wanted for our wedding weekend - the charm and warmth of the Catskills, a low maintenance energy with high quality offerings, and a versatile venue where each space felt uniquely different (even if we had to use the same room twice...cue cold weather and rain!) to make each night feel like its own unique experience and special moment. Working with the Arnold House: From the start, they were so flexible on making sure that what was important to us worked. For example, we had preferences on specific food and wines and the AH team made it so easy to swap (and even source!) what we wanted. This team has an incredible ability to transform each space into a beautiful one, from the spreads they put out, the greenery they pick as decor, the furniture they arrange, and all the small touches in between that matter...we are so impressed. Additionally, they were helpful to make our guest experience the best possible - accommodating special requests and just generally being warm and inviting people. Lastly, the Arnold House itself is always continuing to add and improve their offerings. So we were met with nice surprises throughout our wedding planning process. For example we got to benefit from new chairs and dinner tables, something we no longer had to think about renting. The Space and Food: Wow! Our band and dance party in the greenhouse was pure magic. And our sit down dinner in the barn was beautiful and romantic. At first we were a bit concerned about having the dance party in a separate room from dinner - but it worked out really well and actually was nice to let those who wanted to dance, dance, and those who wanted to sit and chat be able to easily do that too. We didn’t get to eat much (even though we swore we wouldn’t be those people) but our guests all said the food was great and we can say for certain that we loved the burrata, oysters, trout drip, flank steak, and pumpkin pie!! Friday was intimate and inviting in Shandelee Hall/the Sun Room with the fire burning and the wine flowing. Wood fired pizzas were perfect. The Tavern: It’s own unique experience and space - unique from everywhere else on the property. Pool table and “divey-ish” vibes - a perfect setting for junk food and afterparty. Sunday brunch was simply gorgeous in the greenhouse. Food was simple, but good, and displayed beautifully. Overall: As you can tell from this being the first review, this place feels like a really well kept secret. Having now had our wedding here, we want to shout how great the Arnold House is from the rooftop. If you’re reading this right now, trust us… make the call and visit the Arnold House! Emily and the whole team were fantastic and made our weekend feel really special. The Arnold House will always have a special place in our hearts. We are SO grateful to Camp Lindenmere for having the most beautiful venue and the most supportive, helpful staff! I knew I wanted a camp wedding from day 1 of planning, but most camps require a lot of DIY. Kyle, Elliot and staff are SO on top of planning ,guest bookings, timelines, day of coordination, doing all the set up (I mean we literally brought in our mug favors and they put the little “thank you” tags on, they put batteries in our taper candles, etc. I swear they don’t say no.) The food all weekend was incredible, the drinks were flowing (my husband and I were CRAVING the ribs we had at the reception for a full week after). Our guests were really pleasantly surprised at the “country club” feel of the summer camp - staff is always around on golf carts to escort guests as needed, there’s even a beer golf cart going around on Saturday. The waterfront was beautiful, everyone got a kick out of the high ropes course, people were playing volleyball under the lights all hours of the night. They told us the after-party would end at 1:30 but we were partying til 3:30 and no one was kicking us out. I’m trying to convince everyone I know to get married here so I can come back as a guest!

We got to know Cedar Lakes by attending winter weekends and pop-up dinners while planning our wedding. Frankly, we worried that was a mistake as we got close to our wedding day -- after we had experienced CLE's hospitality a few times, our expectations were through the roof. Turns out, not a problem. With the help of the people at Cedar Lakes and our incredible team of vendors, despite our anticipation, we were absolutely floored. It was beyond perfect. The people at Cedar Lakes - each and every one of them - embody a blend of warmth and professionalism I've never witnessed anywhere. They treated every guest like family, every event went off exactly as planned, and if there were any problems that arose during the day, we never heard about them. At every turn, the CLE team added unique surprises that matched our own and our guests' style perfectly. We left (reluctantly) on Monday morning feeling as though we'd made friends at CLE, and have been treated like family every time we've returned. This is really a special place for us, and I can't emphasize enough how much of that comes from each and every person who works so hard to make CLE what it is. The food gets its own paragraph. This isn't wedding food, and its not restaurant food. It's some of the best I've had anywhere, and the CLE team executes it perfectly whether for 2 or 200. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but it is plated beautifully in a way that compliments your decor and is always paired with perfect specialty cocktails, wines, and other beverages. This was a huge reason why we chose CLE, and we are still hearing about each and every meal from our guests. All that said, the best part about this venue is the setting - it is a surreal environment to be surrounded by friends and family for a weekend, and enabled us to spend quality time with the people we love during our wedding. We can't imagine a better set-up than CLE. Having accommodations for nearly the entire wedding on site (and being there for the whole weekend) allowed us to be truly present with our guests. We were able to share some meals and downtime with our friends and family in a more causal settings, and we felt like we were able to be a part of the weekend our guests experienced (which, honestly, we are still a bit jealous of -- sports fields, two pools, a beer garden, not to mention the lake and the blob). It warms our hearts to hear over and over from our guests, even to this day, that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. All in all, we looked at a lot of venues, and I cannot imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. This will forever be one of our favorite places on earth, and we're thrilled to see what's next for CLE and their team. It doesn't get any better than this.

Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! Where do we even begin?! North Shore House was a dream come true for our wedding. We only viewed 2 venues, this being the second, because as soon as we saw NSH we felt at home. Location: It felt like we were on vacation and not in New Jersey, it was so serene and special. Grounds were impeccable. Each season brings a different feel, even with a misty day it was striking with the flowers, antique gates, greenery, etc. Every time we visited off season there was some maintenance being done that just goes to show the love that gets put into it. The history behind the grounds was very interesting to us and we made sure to get a picture with their bar (originally imported from Brooklyn). They have beautifully decorated guest rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and a classy feel. They allowed us to pre-pick who would be given what room to avoid any drama. Our corner room was the newlywed suite and had the best view on the grounds, we felt so special! Service: NSH is a family owned business and they bring charm in everything they do. It was a pleasant surprise that throughout the process we met a new family member running different aspects - the kitchen/catering, grounds work, business/sales, etc! Throughout the experience (and especially day of) they would check in to make sure everything was to expectations. No wonder it felt like we were at home. We must call out that our day of coordinator, Samantha, was a literal dream to work with. She was light hearted, flexible, and felt like a friend helping you plan your day (without any of the drama that you might get working with family/friends :) professionalism was top notch). Special thanks to Eric as well that gave us the initial tour and supported our whole experience. Day Of: It was rainy and they waited until last minute to make the call if we would do outdoor ceremony. Thankfully it lightened up and they set up all the chairs within 30 mins of the start time so that the guests would not sit on soaking wet chairs. I loved how they met up with me (the bride) before the ceremony entrance which made me feel special. They had a bridal attendant Diana that was very friendly and brought us food, champagne, etc. Overall we are so happy we chose NSH to have our wedding. Everything had high attention to detail. The bride's father is a musician and has played hundreds of weddings and in general has high expectations - but he was very impressed with the grounds ("Spotless - you can tell they put in a lot of work") and the food ("This was real restaurant food, not wedding food"). Other family members continue to say how special of a wedding it was and how much they loved the historic Inn. It will always hold a special place in our heart - not only for our wedding, but for the first meeting of our parents, we reserved dinner there exactly 1 year from our date and enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service, getting us all so excited for the big day. Highly recommend this idea for other couples so you can picture what it will be like day of and get a different kind of tasting experience!
