About this venue

Takach's Grove first opened it's doors in 1970 by Andy and Marguerite Takach. It was home to countless company picnics, Family Reunions and special events of all kinds. The property went through extensive renovations in 2018, and now focuses primarily on weddings. Our same family still owns, maintains and operates the venue. We are proud to be small and niche - booking only 1 wedding a weekend, and providing many in house items and being as all-inclusive as possible, in order to give our couples a stress free experience. We are onsite and available for the duration of your event - including the day before for the rehearsal and set up and for the duration of your event to keep things running smoothly. We work closely with vendors and our dedicated catering partner to make your special day exactly what you are envisioning. The Ceremony Pavilion

A beautiful and scenic area - providing both and outdoor setting while still protecting you and your guests from the elements

Our outdoor ceremony pavilion is 2,800 square feet. We can sit 200 people while still allowing for a wide aisle and very large ceremony area, or more with standing space. For Reception only events, where the couple is getting married off site (such as at a church), this area is converted to a cocktail area.

The Main Lodge

Expansive yet warm and cozy

The original lodge was built in 1965 and the main event space for decades of family reunions, corporate outings, and other special events. Extensively renovated in 2018, the main lodge features an Alpine feel with vaulted timber ceilings, a huge stone fireplace, and 4 sided brick and live-edge bar. This space is used throughout the duration of the event. Guests enjoy taking a break from dancing, sitting by the fireplace, relaxing in the lounge area, or shooting billiards.

The Reception Pavilion

Rustic, Relaxed, Elegance.

Our 4,400 square foot open air pavilion features vaulted timber frame trusses, made entirely of local hemlock. This space comfortably seats 200 guests with our included 10 person round tables, and up to 250 if farm style seating is incorporated, while still allowing plenty of space for a dance floor.

The Beer Garden and other outdoor spaces

A beautiful blend of outdoor and indoor

Our outdoor spaces blend seamlessly with the indoor-providing your guests a fluid event. Our natural spring-fed pond, hand crafted Victorian gazebo, and beautiful flowers make for amazing photograph opportunities. When your guests need a break from the music and dancing, there is plenty of space for them to wander while still being part of the party. Our reception pavilion is open to the attached beer garden, which features 6 flame towers, a large 10 foot firepit,high top tables, and benches.

    Steve and Beth at The Springs at Takach's Grove were a joy to work with from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - spacious, fun, clean, and could be decorated to suit any couples unique style. They provided invaluable insight and recommendations that truly made our special day even more magical.     When we first visited The Springs at Takach's Grove, we were blown away by the beauty of the grounds, as well as how friendly and helpful both Beth and Steve Takach were. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a spacious and inviting atmosphere, and plenty of photo options! Our food was amazing and Jim at Fireside Martini Grill was very professional and easy to work with. Even when the weather took an unexpected turn, they had us covered! The wonderful staff went above and beyond to ensure all of our guests were comfortable. They were attentive to our every need, making sure our day ran seamlessly, down to every last detail. We never had to worry about a thing and we cannot recommend them enough! We are so grateful to the whole team at The Springs at Takach's Grove for making our wedding day truly perfect.
