Our day-of coordinator Jenna was fantastic - she made sure everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and enjoy our special day. Guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Even though it was a hot July day, The Gallagher kept us comfortable with their climate control. At the end of the night, they cleaned up and packed everything to go home with us. As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. We had our wedding at DW on September 1, and it was truly flawless. DW is such a well oiled machine and the night went incredibly smooth. It was such a pleasure to work with Latoria, Chloe, and Tori throughout the planning process. We had about 150 people with a band and it was the perfect fit. The room was STUNNING and the team was super accommodating with last minute changes and a huge wrench thrown our way on the big day. No one even flinched and they adapted beautifully. SO sad it's over and I wish we could do it again!!

I booked my wedding on very short notice. Churon just happened to have a cancelation. And boy did I luck out. The venue was beautiful. But the best was Meilee. She is their in-house coordinator. Her “can do” attitude was so refreshing. She was prompt. She was courteous. She gave me great recommendations. And worked with me always to find ways to do what we needed or wanted. In the end the venue was stunning. I couldn’t have been happier. The food was really good. The rooms were huge. It was awesome. Highly recommend.

I got married here at the beginning of June and it was the best day of my life and Forgotten Barrel definitely made it an amazing day. When I first came here to tour the place, Alyssa made me feel like a bride and not just another person looking for a venue. She was easy to work with and definitely was one of the many selling points of picking this venue for our wedding. The day itself was flawless and all our guests had a great time here. Absolutely stunning venue. The wedding went amazing with the help of Julie and Olivia along with the staff at Seven Ponds on our wedding day. The day was seamless and taking advantage of staying on site made the day feel stress free. It was great to have food and drink covered with the venue as this was one less vendor that could have caused stress on the big day! Planning forms were helpful to make sure all things were covered and things went according to plan. Only thing with the planning process is it seemed as if Seven Ponds tried to upsell everything and questioned some of our decisions although after talking to them, a compromise came about. Couldn’t have been happier to pick the venue for our special day and we will remember the beauty of the venue forever.

MillCreek Wilde provided the perfect rustic yet elegant backdrop for our special day. Communication with the venue owner, Amelia, was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout the planning process. She responded to all our questions promptly and helped ensure everything came together smoothly. The venue itself is simply stunning with tall trees, string lights, and beautiful landscaping that made bringing in additional decor almost unnecessary. We felt the venue was very fairly priced given the beautiful setting and helpful staff. Amelia even took the time during the reception to capture photos for an Instagram reel to help us remember our special moments at MillCreek Wilde. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, naturally beautiful venue with an accommodating team to match for our wedding day! It was a magical setting - exactly right for our personalities and hopes for our “enchanted woodland” wedding!

We had our wedding at Balistreri on October 26th, and it could not have been a more perfect day thanks to the venue and the incredible staff. Mattie and Katy made the planning process a breeze, helped us pick our food out, took our wishes and feedback into account, and truly just gave us everything we could have wanted out of this day. They're incredibly flexible to your vision but will provide input and thoughts when needed, ensuring that everything is set up for success. The food and the wine is INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments all night and after the fact about the dishes (lamb, salmon, and risotto), the appetizers, the desserts, the late night snack, and especially the cabernet. They're also incredibly accommodating to allergies, working with us for our friends and family with dietary restrictions to make sure everyone is aware of ingredients. We attended a tasting event to try a variety of food options, and then had a private tasting to finalize our menu, where Mattie and the chefs sat down with us and helped us tailor our menu to our exact wishes. The set-up, bartending, and wait stuff were all top notch - making our day run incredibly smoothly. The inclusion of chairs, linens, flatware, etc. and catering in house was a huge draw for us in terms of ease of planning. They have some highly recommended vendors for entertainment and alcohol delivery, who are not mandatory to use, but who worked seamlessly with the venue to create an easy and low stress day. Lastly, the venue is absolutely beautiful. It is set up so naturally perfectly that we barely felt the need for additional decor. The garage doors being open between the ceremony and reception spaces allowed for such a seamless flow and natural feeling cocktail hour. Our event of 120 guests fit the space wonderfully. We got married right at sunset, late in the year, and were gifted with the most gorgeous weather. I truly cannot rave enough about how wonderful it was to host at Balistreri. We had the most magical day and could not have done it without this wonderful venue. The amount of personal touches and care they put into hosting your event shows why it is such a popular and well loved place.

Nestled in the trees on Parrett Mountain, our wine tasting room is a cozy, inviting lodge-style experience. Drink wine by the fire or sit outside for a fantastic view of Mt. St. Helens between the trees. Construction of the building incorporated Cedar, Fir, and Maple harvested from our property. This wood was used for the siding, along with the 3 bars: Cedar, Fir and Maple live edge slabs. At the center of the building stands the top of the Cedar tree, standing 28 feet tall. Specializing in Big Bold Reds, we also have some award-winning Pinot Noir and white wines as well as local beer on tap. Our tasting room is a versatile space for hosting many events: private tastings, meetings, birthdays, small casual weddings, and more. Events must be catered. We have preferred caterers but will consider outside caterers as requested. We can seat 64-70 people inside and on the patio, but allow a maximum of 85 guests per event. We have 45 parking spots and 2 Tesla Charging stations.

The Carlsbad Windmill is a beautiful venue and I loved having it as an all in one package. It made wedding planning so easy while still being customizable in many ways. We had an amazing day and everything went smoothly. As a bride, I did not have to worry about much. My only caution is that they can change the food options at their discretion so the food that is there when you book with them may have slight changes when you get to closer to your actual wedding date. This was not a big deal for us but they did change the filet mignon option to a sirloin. Other than that, every one we worked with there are kind and helpful. They are quick to answer any questions you have throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to plan a wedding in the area. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all on the same property/building which makes a very easy transition for the guests from place to place. Many beautiful options for photos on site as well along with the beach and flower fields close by.

We couldn't get enough of the chicken and Brussels sprouts, but every dish we tasted was equally amazing. We were so impressed by the quality of the meal and the variety offered. Getting ready was a breeze thanks to the spacious salon, which easily accommodated our bridal party of seven. The guys loved their time in the theater area with its projector screen and comfortable recliners. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort and experience. Della Terra Mountain Chateau’s gazebo entrance for the bride was the perfect dramatic touch, and it really wowed everyone. Riggers Loft is situated on the edge of the San Francisco Bay. It is urban chic with high loft ceilings and wooden trusses that invite further decoration. The inside space is 7000 square feet with a footprint that is malleable, and is easily and beautifully delineated by racks of wine barrels. Outside is a 5000 square foot patio overlooking the bay. We recently had our outdoor Traditional American Ceremony only on (August 31, 2024) at Riggers Loft, and I can't sing their praises enough! From the breathtaking views to the exceptional service, every detail was impeccable. Special shoutout to Chef Frank, whose culinary talents truly shone through—our guests are still raving about the fantastic food. Since it was a outdoor ceremony only event, we wanted to provide our guests with small bites before the start of the procession. We chose: Asian Salmon Tartar on Wontons,
Paper Cone French Fries,
Petit Spam Musubi, Fried Mac & Cheese Bites with dipping sauce of chef’s choice. We did a tasting on each of these prior and they were DELICIOUS! No adjustments were needed. Also to include that Barbara and Chef Frank wine bottle selection was amazing! We even wanted a white wine sangria option for our guests too on a hot summer day. Chef Frank created the recipe and it was a hit! The venue's atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, combining rustic charm with modern elegance. The staff were attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly, making our special day stress-free and unforgettable. The airstream onsite was a delightful and unique touch, providing a cozy and stylish space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. It added a special charm to the preparations, making those moments even more memorable. Our location is on 12.6 acres of land on the Little Applegate River. The property is home to a small winery and tasting room, Wild Wines, and residents. Molly was absolutely amazing and helped us coordinate a lot of things for our wedding, including chair rentals (which we upgraded), decor/linens, and seating arrangements. She was professional, communicative, and worked well with our other vendors! Compared to other venues, we felt The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge was priced well. The only minor hiccup for us was having our salads under-dressed during dinner; but overall, the service was great! And our guests loved the stunning views at the club! It's an absolutely beautiful venue!

We had a wonderful experience and perfect wedding day at Aurora Colony Vineyards. We were married here in September and from our very first email to them through the end of our wedding day, we had an extremely positive experience. We worked with their venue manager, Alyse, and I could not speak more highly of her and our experience working with her. She was so professional, kind and responsive, which when you're planning a wedding and trying to coordinate most things around your venue, was SO helpful. The getting ready suites on site were perfect for our needs and fit our group comfortably (5 in each suite). The grounds themselves are gorgeous and because of that we needed minimal decor/extras. This was the only venue that I didn't feel like the indoor option was second best. It was just as beautiful as the amphitheater space. The wine was great with many options to choose from and their tasting room staff were just as wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Aurora Colony Vineyards.

I don’t even have the words to say how perfect our wedding was at sun valley!! All the employees were so helpful and communicative leading up to our day. Hallie ended up being our month of coordinator and she was PHENOMENAL. I mean it, if you have the funds, hire a coordinator!!! But the grounds were beautiful, my guests were blown away, the size was perfect for my 115 guests, but could accommodate way more if needed. Book this venue!!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
