Terrace & The Overlook

Large event space with warm design elements, excellent lighting, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the winery space.

Guests will enjoy floor to ceiling windows overlooking our winery and production space, as well as Clark Street. A unique skylight and warm design fixtures provide excellent, airy lighting throughout. Lounge spaces overlooking the winery provide inviting areas for seating near our warm fireplace. This space is adjacent to our dedicated four-season outdoor terrace for events. Perfect year round and can be used no matter the midwest weather.

Chicago Winery is a unique urban winery venue surrounded by the vibrant arts scene of River North and the glamour of historic Chicago. Our venue boasts a four-seasons outdoor rooftop terrace draped in cafe lights that allow for an outdoor vibe all year round. The exquisite design will have guests swooning over its romantic tones. Our experience with Chicago Winery as our wedding venue was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, we could tell this place was on a whole different level than anywhere else we had toured. Their attention to detail was immediately obvious and it gave us total peace of mind knowing that they would really take care of us and make our lives easy throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It has a warm, luxurious feel that created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Every part of the planning — from our initial meeting, to the booking process, to the tasting, and of course the wedding day — felt effortless. It was smooth, stress-free, and completely aligned with the vision we had for our big day. One thing that really made a difference for us was how easy the team was to work with. Everyone was so kind, responsive, and accommodating. We also really appreciated their curated list of suggested vendors. Most of the vendors we chose were from that list, and they were all incredibly familiar with the space, which made everything even easier. We had the pleasure of working closely with Chris Nehlsen, our event coordinator. He was beyond helpful throughout the planning process and made sure the actual wedding day ran like clockwork. If anything came up, he handled it immediately, and we never had to worry. The food was another major highlight. From the first time we tried their food, we knew we were in for something special. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We heard so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the service. The dinner staff and bartenders were all amazing and added to the overall experience. Chicago Winery also did a great job coordinating with our vendors to make sure everything stayed on track. We truly felt supported every step of the way. We can’t recommend Chicago Winery enough. It was the perfect place for our wedding.

The Chicago Winery was the BEST wedding venue we could’ve ever hoped for! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the service from the entire team is wonderful. Every T is crossed and every I is dotted. We were lucky enough to work with Hulda who was so attentive to our needs the whole process. If we ever had another big event my husband and I agreed we’d look no further than the Chicago Winery.

Our wedding at Chicago Winery was amazing, the venue is stunning and gorgeous, the food, drinks, ambiance and customer service were incredible. Our event management team, Chris and Jen were so wonderful, professional, and hands-on, I cannot thank them enough. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and we cannot recommend Chicago Winery enough.
