River Room is an absolutely gorgeous space in Chicago, right on the river and across from Horner Park! We worked primarily with Monica, the event manager there and she absolutely was so helpful in making our dream wedding happen. We had a magical day, thanks in part to the venue. A bonus of booking this venue is that you will get a selection of Burning Bush brewery beers, great for beer fans. It’s also a perfect setup for catering, with an industrial space, and a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite. They also have a fantastic and thoughtfully designed audio set up. We had live ceremony musicians that performed outside and they were heard clearly. You’d never know they were outside! Truly, this venue was designed to be a winning wedding space and you couldn’t go wrong with the fantastic amenities and people that RR has to offer.

We loved working with River Room, and would absolutely do it again if we could! Everyone was helpful and friendly, we didn't worry about a thing on the day, and venue staff even flipped our ceremony form outside to inside at the last minute due to rain with no problems. The overall experience was wonderful, and you cannot beat the views. One of our guests said this was "the best venue in Chicago", and we would agree!

The River Room was beyond a pleasure to work with! Adam is one of the kindest coordinators I’ve met and allowed us to take as many photos as we wanted around the venue and the brewery. Not only did the whole staff give the couple and their guests a wonderful experience, but you could tell they genuinely cared about the people there and wanted them to have fun. Lastly, the location of this venue is phenomenal. Having the sun set behind the couple as they exchange vows on the terrace along the river, being in walking distance of a stunning park, it was all just so perfect for pictures. Cant wait to work with them again in the future!

Rates are based on a six hour room rental. Access to the space the day prior to or after an event is based on availability. IE: load in, load out. Access to the space on the day of the event is 2PM-12AM. Exceptions can be made on a case per case basis. The maximum duration of event time is 7hrs on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our venue is located in Chicago's North Center neighborhood, approximately 13 miles from Midway Airport and 11 miles from O'Hare Airport.

Yes. We require Special Event Liability Insurance for your event. Certificates are due no later than thirty (30) days prior to your event date. The insurance must have a single liability limit of not less than $1 million and a general aggregate liability limit of not less than $2 million.

River Room will offer a refund if the client chooses to cancel within 7 days of booking. Beyond that, River Room will refund the client’s deposit less a $1,000 cancellation fee if submitted more than 3 months prior to the event date. Cancellations submitted less than 3 months from the event date booked will result in loss of the total deposit paid.

Yes, the outdoor, riverside deck is available as a standalone rental.
