We worked with Syrie and the Social Maven team for our wedding this September and could not be more grateful for the time, care, and thought they put into our event. We worked closely with Syrie for a year and half to plan our wedding in my parents’ backyard. Syrie and her in team, in conjunction with our incredible vendors (all recommendations of Syrie’s) turned our backyard into a stunning and intimate venue for a wedding. We were fully present and able to spend time with our loved ones and each other on the day, all thanks to Syrie. Despite a very rainy morning, Syrie’s team made a beautiful outdoor evening ceremony and cocktail hour possible. Syrie always advocated for us throughout the process, and prioritized the comfort and enjoyment of our guests as well (which was very important to us). The planning process was largely stress-free, enjoyable, and our wedding was even better than we could have imagined. Michelle was our canine coordinator on our wedding day and she took care of our dog and made it possible for him to be a part of our wedding celebration. Michelle did a meet and greet with our dog and you can immediately see her love for dogs and also her experience working with them. Our shiba is a stubborn boy who can tune others out when he’s curious, but Michelle was able to get his attention when needed. She also took him back to our hotel and fed him and we were able to enjoy our reception without having to worry about who was taking care of our dog. If you are interested in having your pup involved in your wedding, I highly recommend Michelle. We had a worry free experience with her around because we knew our dog was in good hands. Another perk of having a canine coordinator like Michelle is that you know your dog is being handled by a professional and that none of your guests would have to step away and miss out on any part of your wedding should your dog get restless during your ceremony, etc. Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding :) Thank you, Michelle!

As a wedding photographer, any time a bride tells me their planner is Carly with Wayfinder Weddings I instantly breathe a sigh of relief! I know their wedding will turn out beautiful and that they are in good hands. Investing in a planner/coordinator is worth its weight in gold. Trust me, you don't want to have to do all of this by yourself (and your bridal party/family are there to celebrate with you, not to be put to work haha!). Couples don't often understand what a time-consuming and complex undertaking a planning (and setting up) a wedding truly is until it's too late. The last thing any of us wants you to feel on your wedding day is stress! Often in these cases, couples end up relying on their other vendors or guests to take on the role of the coordinator/planner, this isn't ideal because it takes away from what we were initially there to do...When I hear that Wayfinder Weddings will be in charge, right from the start I know that everything is under control and I can just focus on what I do best! On our actual wedding day, it’s hard to even describe what a pivotal role Randy played in making the whole thing such a huge success! He managed all the details perfectly to a T, including managing stressed family members and making sure we didn’t get pulled into any drama or questions from vendors or guests. I also love that he was willing to roll up his sleeves and be an extra pair of hands to our vendors in busy moments like bartending and making sure everything was cleaned/picked up before our venue deadline. Our DJ got stuck in traffic on his way to Vail and was unfortunately not able to make it to our wedding. We found out the news approximately two hours prior to our ceremony start time. Needless to say, I was panicking…but Jenny wasn’t. She calmly approached me to fill me in on the situation. I very clearly remember her telling me “I’ve got this. Give me some time and I will find a replacement.” Within FIVE MINUTES we had a new DJ hired. I cannot speak enough regarding the importance of hiring local vendors who know the area and have connections in the area. Jenny didn’t stop assisting us once our wedding was over either as she assisted us in negotiations with the DJ for a reimbursement. I will never be able to thank Jenny enough. I went from being incredibly overwhelmed planning a destination wedding to feeling so at ease and confident with the professionals that I hired. It is an incredible thing seeing your vision come to life and I truly don’t think my vision could have been executed without Jenny’s help! I want to thank Mandy , Doris and their team for all their hard work over the past few months. I cannot have such an amazing wedding without their help. They delivered beyond my expectation on every single detail. When I was looking for planners/coordinators, Mandy and Doris explained to all my lengthy questions patiently and timely. I also had questions if it really worth to hire wedding planner or should I just DIY since I have time. YES, it worth every ! During our planning process to the end of the wedding. Every single detail… I cannot love more I was joking this with my friends— while my husband was tied up on his job, I felt I was marrying Mandy and Doris , I felt they were holding my hands, gave me more support and made me relaxed when we need to make 1000 decisions on the wedding details within 2 months. The wedding day has been unbelievably smooth!!! I have been to many weddings and I told myself, if anything happens, it is okay! If we run late for something, it is okay! But my concern was unnecessary, my day has been so smooth so relaxed!!! This cannot be achieved without Doris and her coordination team. Even my other vendors who worked with Doris first time, told me “your coordination is the best I have worked with. How much does a wedding planner cost?

What do wedding planners do?
