Here at Joie de Vivre Events, we are a mother-daughter owned event planning agency on a mission to assure life’s biggest moments are memorable and joyous. What started as a simple passion for assisting our friends and family with their important moments quickly developed into a dream of owning our own event planning business.

Whether it be a family wedding or a milestone birthday we at Joie de Vivre Events are committed to making your event as stress-free, memorable and joyous as possible. Do you want your wedding day to be intimate? We will help plan the perfect microwedding.

We offer an Initial consultation + 3 check in meetings leading up to the event. These meetings can help the couple during the planning process in case they have questions. We also help finalize timelines across all vendors, suggest vendors, floor design, tour venue and oversee the rehearsal and wedding day.

    We hired Catherine and Caylynn (mother/daughter team) at Joie de Vivre Events as our "Day Of" wedding coordinator. We had several preliminary zoom meetings, and checkpoints to hit. Catherine provided a detailed wedding worksheet/timeline/vendor info etc. that we completed for her. This was a valuable tool for us to use as well to ensure all facets were covered & completed. In addition, Catherine came to the event location meeting at the Arboretum as well as the location rehearsal. She contacted all vendors week of to confirm timing etc. The wedding was located in a garden, the cocktail hour in another garden, and the reception in a large tent--all three across several acres. All that to say there were a lot of moving parts. On the day of, Catherine and Caylynn remained a calm presence despite 100% rain chances and a panicking bride! They were a valuable part of the success of our daughter's wedding! Not only were they calm, but they are just super nice people to work with!! I highly recommend them.

For example, they set up the reception when the venue didn't deliver on tasks like folding napkins for all 100 guests.
