Opal 28 is an intimate space, an extension of your living room with a vintage & elegant ambiance. The 2,600 square foot space includes two great rooms, a built-in bar, private outdoor patio and bridal suite accommodations above the venue. The building was originally built in 1908 is conveniently located in inner NE Portland.

Black-owned open floor studio with large windows and original exposed brick. The large windows allow a hefty amount of natural sunlight to fill the room. Good for photo shoots, exercise classes, small banquets, birthday parties, baby showers, launch parties, and meeting space. There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading. This is your premier and intimate event studio.

The Eastburn has been a Portland Neighborhood spot for 13+ years. A great Place to meet for drinks and a great meal. We have 3 separate areas to rent from our annex that seats up to 25, covered heated patio seats up to 40, combine the annex/patio to seat up to 60 and then or retro taproom bar in the basement that seats up to 90. This is a great venu for rehearsal dinners, showers, engagement parties, day after brunches or just an after party.

From intimate to elaborate our venue has you covered! Our two world renowned restaurants, Departure and Urban Farmer can host small gatherings of up to 30 attendees, while our larger Ballroom and Cityview Living Room can host up to 500 attendees. Have your wedding ceremony on our rooftop or in our ballroom with a reception following in one of our more casual spaces like the Barrel Room or elegant Nines Ballroom. Our hotel is housed in the Meier & Frank Building, built in 1909 and is rich in Portland history yet has a modern, artistic feel being home to over 2 million dollars worth of art by Pacific Northwest artists. We have 331 guestrooms onsite and offer courtesy room blocks, bridal getting ready rooms and suites.
