About this venue
With a regal red brick façade, the Chehalem Cultural Center is a fantastic choice for your dream wedding. Conveniently located in the heart of Newberg, the Center is steps away from fine restaurants, wineries, lodging and the historical downtown area. Housed in a newly renovated 1930's brick schoolhouse, the Chehalem Cultural Center offers an historic authenticity that is rare among today’s modern venues. Fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and Wi-Fi, this flexible venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for a comfortable dining experience.

Grand Central Ballroom
The Grand Central Ballroom is a modern brick and wood, 5,200 sq. ft. space that includes a welcoming entrance foyer, stage, quality audio/visual system, dimmable lighting, and a glass roll-up door which opens onto a spacious patio. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 320 guests for a seated dinner.

Bridal Suite
Comfortable and quiet get-ready room
This beautiful and quiet space is the perfect Bridal Suite as it is in the center of everything. It can also be closed off along with a set of bathrooms for privacy.

Lights are dimmable, making the room ideal for makeup application and photos. There is a giant mirror on one wall, one standing mirror, a long counter with a sink, tall wall hooks for long dresses, and optional coat/dress rack.

Brand new catering prep space
This spacious prep space is perfect for gathering food together and sending out to the Ballroom.

Commercial refrigerator, ice machine, dishwasher, hand washing and deep dishwashing sinks, and 6 mobile stainless steel counters.

Included in Wedding Packages, OR $50/hr or $500/day as a separate rental
Art Classroom
Another get-ready room for your wedding party
Art classroom is available upstairs to use as a get-ready space and to store your clothes and personal items for the duration of your wedding.

Elevator access, lots of counter space, optional standing mirror, two sinks, access to chairs, 5' round tables, and 6' rectangular tables.

Fourteen (14) hours encompassing set up and take down ● Catering kitchen/storage area ● Tables and chairs (max: 40-5’ rounds, 25-6’ banquets, 320 chairs) ● AV system w/screens, projectors, speakers and two wireless microphones ● Pre-event coordination meeting, with facility walk-through and customized room layout ● Rehearsal time during the week prior to the wedding ● Bridal suite and dressing room for the groom on day of event ● Staff assistance with the room “flip” from ceremony to reception.

Beautiful Ballroom
Had my wedding reception here and gosh let me tell you it was lovely! The staff went out of their way to make sure we had enough time to set up the decorations. They were easy to get a hold of and even let me go in multiple times to test out my decorations. 10/10 recommend
