Laura's Cake Design is a custom cake business that operates out of Staten Island NY since 2014. ​ We pride ourselves on the quality of our cakes and our personalized customer service. ​ We are special event bakers and only take custom orders. We are not a brick-and-mortar bakery. We work out of a kitchen and our hours at that kitchen vary widely based on the orders we have for the week. ​

SnoScoops came out of a need for a refreshing yet delish dessert that met my dietary needs. In 2024, I went on the Paleo diet as part of the 75 Hard, and found it difficult to find a dessert that was sugar free, dairy free and oat free so I made my own. Mini Melanie was founded in 2015 by sisters Melanie and Diana Moss. Melanie grew up baking with their grandmother, and her hobby steadily grew into an obsession. While attending Northwestern University, Melanie studied in Paris and was Sous Chef at Cours de Cuisine atelier. She later attended the Institute of Culinary Education and honed her craft in the Michelin-starred kitchens of Babbo and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, where she was Pastry Sous Chef. Melanie’s desserts have been recognized in the 2016 New York City Michelin guide, and in 2018, Melanie became Champion of a special-themed chocolate competition on Food Network’s CHOPPED.

Much to his surpise the bakery was much more than just breads, soon they would discover many talents needed to be learned and fast.

Tipsy scoop blends the magic of an artisanal, hand-crafted ice cream with the mastery of a perfectly mixed cocktail. My great, great, great grandfather, Achille, moved from his small mountaintop town of Picinisco, Italy to Glasgow, Scotland. He made ice cream at home and sold it from a pushcart as he walked the city streets. Eventually he opened his own ice cream shop and brought his sons into the business.
