The Estate at River Run offers a dream setting to host a variety of elegant affairs. High on a bluff towering over the James River, this exquisite Georgian Revival offers 16,000 square feet of opulence, built by Taylor and Parrish Construction from 1981-1987. This stately Georgian features an upper brick promenade surrounded by a limestone balustrade and opens to a double curved staircase to the lower terrace. The mansion's interior boasts extravagant architectural embellishment. Marble floors, ornamental cornices, plaster friezes, 18-foot columns with gilded Corinthian capitals, and custom crystal chandeliers please the eye from the onset. A Jeffersonian pool house with a hexagonal raised dome presides over a circular pool with bluestone terraces and a limestone balustrade. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

Narmada Winery has several ideal locations to fit any and all of your dreams! Our indoor locations include our tasting room and cellar; the best location for your wine enthused "I do!" For those that want an outdoor location but are afraid of our "predictable" Virginian weather, covered patio and crush pad are available for your use! If you want the convenience of having your ceremony within feet of your reception, or if your guest list is much bigger than estimated our pond side pavilion has small covered area and enough space for up to three 50'x90' tents!

We perform Intimate elopements for two and take care of the officiant, flowers, cake and champagne toast. Conduct your ceremony in our octagon or barrel room or outdoors on our 14 acre property which includes a one acre vineyard.
