Discover the perfect backdrop for your special day, surrounded by picturesque Nestled in the secluded countryside of Holden, Massachusetts. Stonehouse is over 125 years old, built in the late 1800’s. It was originally built as a stucco home, in what was an area of parceled farms. Over time, the house was expanded and was eventually converted into a stone estate. The house fell into disrepair and in 1994, came into our guardianship. We have been working ever since to return it to its former glory. Stonehouse, with its arched windows, and open porches, would serve as a picturesque backdrop for any function. We have a luxurious indoor space that accommodates 70 guests. For weddings exceeding 70 guests your even takes place in a pristine Century Pole tent. *Stonehouse On The Hill requires you book one of our approved caterers for food and beverages for your event.*

Our wedding couples appreciate the authentic and welcoming warmth we offer at Salem Cross Inn – a warmth that can only be found in a colonial farmhouse and barn that have stood the test of time for centuries. If our walls could talk, they would tell you of all of the tender memories in the making that they have witnessed. Our New England venue with antique wide pine floors and chestnut beams sits on 600 acres of magnificent countryside with grazing cattle in the fields. We can accommodate up to 200 people in our barn and loft, while smaller weddings find a comfortable setting in one of our more intimate rooms in the house. Mechanics Hall is fully accessible and air-conditioned, and it features spacious catering spaces and modern green room facilities. Our venue is conveniently located in downtown Worcester-the Heart of the Commonwealth-making it an easy drive from any New England location. With 14,000 square feet of function space, our venue can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 1,600 people. Your guests will experience the comfort of 21st-century amenities amid 19th-century elegance.

The Worcester Art Museum offers Event Specialists who will help you plan and execute every step of the way. Working from a healthy list of cooperating vendors, the Event Specialist helps guide you to use the Museum at its full potential.
