Our lush Ceremony Circle, nestled up to the apple orchard, sits beneath one of the oldest maple groves in Massachusetts, with a stunning view across the valley. Our Stone Patio features a permanent 40’ x 50’ reception tent and a 75’ long retaining wall/bench. We are Northampton's newest, most modernized banquet facility, however Union Station has been a fixture for over 100 years. All your guests can travel to the top on our Ski Lift to get to the beautiful views of the property. If the Base of the Mountain is preferred, you may select to be next to our pond or by the outdoor fireplace. For your reception, our Rustic Lodge including two stone fireplaces, barn door along with bistro lighting is able to accommodate up to 180 people for dinner and dancing. New to the property, is our outdoor Pavilion, located next to the pond that can accommodate up to 200 people. Add on some firepits and lawn games for a fun and relaxing event. Your scenic wedding ceremony can be held at the base or summit of the mountain. Select from two rustic rooms for your reception. We only hold one venue per weekend. We are on 6 acres located in the Monadnock area of New Hampshire. We are a venue and lodging establishment. We have a large patio for venue use for rehearsal dinners etc. Lots of places for photos and fun and games.

The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.
