All staffed and catered in-house, The grand Greek revival facility with its towering columns continues to honor the legacy of Charles Ellis, a local entrepreneur. Built in 1932, the location was used as a school for girls around the Philadelphia area. Now, Finley Catering plans to bring a totally new dimension to our brides and corporate clients by combining our culinary expertise and top-notch service with the idyllic grounds for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour along with the state-of-the-art grandiose Ballroom for your dinner and reception. Formerly the Methodist Church built in 1843, the Ballroom is the original sanctuary complete with choir loft which is often used for wedding ceremony, gift table or head table.
