“We knew our DJ Rob Goodmonson would be a good choice as soon as we started chatting with him. He was incredibly warm, inviting, and attentive! During our first phone call, we developed a great rapport - it was so clear he loves what he does, and he had genuine enthusiasm for us and our wedding. Rob was super communicative by email, and it was really helpful to use the Second Song portal/doc as a guide to choose which music we wanted and when. It also felt really nice to be able to remove parts of the doc that we didn't want part of our day (garter toss, grand entrance, etc.), and Rob gave us options on how to facilitate some parts of our event too (like switching from dads to mom/sister during the parent dance by introducing them, which was a really beautiful moment). Rob also was able to loop the song we used while walking down the aisle! On our wedding day, Rob was super enigmatic! Based on our cues from the google doc/chatting on the phone, he clearly understood the kind of music we liked, and it showed, because the dance floor never emptied. He actually mixed, so there was never an uncomfortable gap between songs, and even when we had requests he quickly and seamlessly slipped them in. He had a really relaxed and welcoming presence throughout! He gave us shoutouts throughout the night, which felt surprisingly special! We would highly highly recommend Rob, his energy was incredible AND he was the DJ for the GLAAD awards!!”

“We all have a few things that we REALLY care about for our wedding celebrations. For my wife, these were the venue and HMU. For me, it was the music. And so when I found Ceremony and their New Order-inspired logo, I had high hopes. And Jamie more than delivered. The vibes were… the best. Exactly what we wanted. We had a wide range of requests: 60s girl groups, Japanese psychedelic rock, Taylor Swift, Indian dance music, the 80s pop that inspired the original outreach, and everything in between. Jamie wove everything together seamlessly and had the dance floor moving all night (even with a wide range of guests—many ages from all around the world). Besides the music selection, he’s super personable, professional, reliable… all the stuff you want in a DJ! Can’t recommend Jamie and Ceremony enough. A few of my friends asked for his card at our wedding, so hopefully we get to see him again soon!”

“From our first meeting with him, we knew he was our guy. He was organized, thorough, and honestly just hands down the best. We had a lot going on, and he was great at getting us scheduled for meetings and keeping us on track (we definitely were not on track otherwise with that haha). The app he uses gave my husband and I the ability to put in as much (or little) effort as we wanted in regards to our playlists, and he just made it amazing. Anyone you ask from our wedding, had a blast. The photos and videos that I have from after dinner and whatnot, the dance floor is packed and there’s not a person in their seat. I’ve repeatedly had people ask for our playlist for their events now as well. Everything ran smoothly day of thanks to his MC’ing and directing a smooth transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We can’t be more thankful to have found him, and that we were able to book him! Also, photo booth, HUGEEE plus. He customized our photos to match our design and it was awesome. I do have to say that we didn’t get as many people in it as I would have expected, but that’s because everyone was having too much fun dancing that they didn’t realize it was there. There’s no better feeling than hearing everyone saying how much fun they had at your wedding, and how they’ve never had such a great time dancing at a wedding. We cannot recommend Seth enough!!”

“I cannot stress enough how lucky my husband and I were to have Tyler for our wedding! Seriously, he's an all-around entertainer. Live saxophone/piano, DJ, and emcee?? What more could you ask for?! First off, during our planning meeting, Tyler was so attentive to what we exactly wanted for the music and vibe we wanted for all the different parts of our wedding. He even recreated music I wanted for our ceremony exit song; I wanted to have the ceremony exit song (with the live music) from the movie Love Actually, and it was difficult to find the song online, but he was able to recreate it so beautifully! He really matches the vibe you want for your wedding, and made it so personalized for us. He created so many atmospheres for our wedding: from classy/romantic to dance party/rave. And all with his saxophone mixed in!!! If there was anything we felt like we needed guidance on, his suggestions were AWESOME (i.e. placement of lights/music during the wedding/reception so that guests would feel more involved and pumped up to party). We could tell that he really knew his craft. Tyler even had some add-on lighting packages (up-lighting, light batons, etc.) to make our wedding look amazing! He was even able to accommodate us by coordinating with some pyrotechnics that I rented from another vendor, so that it would synchronize with the music! All around best best best music dude. **Make sure to get Tyler's lighting add-ons, they're SUPER WORTH IT** Anyways, everyone at our wedding loved Tyler! Our engaged friends (and even our pre-engaged friends) are planning on having him at their weddings! He really made our wedding incredibly special. If you're looking for an awesome and unique music vendor to keep the party going for your wedding, Tyler's your guy! I would rate 6 stars if I could.”

Based on the positive reviews and experience, we selected DJ Trey Money. From the very initial conversations with Trey he was very professional, organized and listened intently to our requests to customize a playlist that fit our special occasion perfectly. From the background music during the cocktail hour, to the songs that inspired guests to hit the dance floor during the dancing portion, all of our guests couldn't stop singing and dancing along to their favorite songs. “DJ P did a phenomenal job at my wedding! I had a large wedding of 170 people, and he brought extra speakers, equipment and even a 2nd DJ assistant to ensure his music could be projected throughout the venue at no extra charge. After he setup his equipment, he helped us set up the venue by setting up tables and games we had planned without even being asked. He remembered and respected my blacklist of songs, checking with me any time someone requested one. He was on point on all the songs we asked him to play throughout the night, playing them at the right time. When the dance floor opened up, he had our guests dancing the entire night up until the last song. It was just one song after another that the crowd wanted. He even got on the mic and hyped up the crowd a few times. He worked really well with our wedding coordinator and MC, adapting on the fly as needed. After the wedding, so many people came up to us and complimented the DJ – it wasn’t the same dry wedding playlist they heard at most weddings they went to. It was truly something different, and unique to our wedding. When you speak to him you can tell he has a passion for this, and he knows his music. You can stop looking. DJ P is your guy.”

“My husband and I hired DJ Chaun and his wife lya's services for our wedding based on word of mouth from a colleague's experience at her daughter's quince. We knew we needed a Dj and wanted a photo-booth option. I reached out and received an almost instantaneous response and quote for services by lya. Their website was easy to use, the promptness in response to details/ questions were exceptional. lya even was more than willing to tour the venue to pre-approve set up within the space ahead of time. The price was right within our budget and almost seemed too good to be true in comparison to the quotes given by others for the same services. I'll be honest, my hopes weren't the highest, as we budgeted minimally for these services. I figured "you get what you pay for." BUT I was BLOWN away by Chaun & lya's professionalism, promptness and overall services. Chaun was given very vague information as far as music selections. He was able to quickly read the cues and likes of the guests and kept people on the dance floor during the majority of the reception. Our guests were not whining down, as they normally do closer to the close of the evening. We ended up paying for them to stay an additional hour (again-at a reasonable price) and they were more than willing to stay and accommodate. I wanted our wedding to be nothing less than memorable and fun for ourselves and our guests. Chaun & lya gave us exactly that! So so happy with their services. We also received our digital Photo Booth gallery (which was also a hit) four days following the wedding and it was so awesome looking at the pictures and reminiscing on such a great night during on honeymoon! 100% recommend!”

“So the music for our wedding was CRUCIAL for me as it had to be PERFECT. I knew that dance floor had to be LIT. I randomly came across an Instagram video of Justin mixing songs and knew he was the guy to pull it off. It was the exact high energy and excitement we wanted. “Felix & Fingers was the best addition to my wedding! We had a BLAST. It’s the best mix between a live band and sing along karaoke (but you don’t want your uncle to get the mic, you know?). “This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.”
