Heart of Gold DJs is an all-woman & non-binary team of professional mobile DJs based in San Francisco. We provide all events with a customized mix of all your favorite tunes and none of the cheesy gimmicks.

We at Heart of Gold believe that you should be able to have an event that reflects who you are. We bring our love of Motown, New Wave, Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Swing, and Pop Favorites to every event. From lofts to barns to libraries, we work closely with all of our clients to develop an event timeline and song list making sure to incorporate your toasts, family traditions, and, of course, favorite songs.

    DJ Ray Reck totally understood our style and vision from our very first meeting and was an absolute GEM to work with - We couldn't recommend her more!!! On the day of our wedding, she was so calm, thoughtful, TALENTED, and played such a massive role in making our wedding the best (most fun) night of our lives. We even ended up extending our time with her because she was playing such good music that no one wanted to leave the dance floor! I can honestly say that choosing Ray was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process.

    Paz was the PERFECT DJ for our wedding, and the dance floor was packed the entire night!! We were hearing from our wedding guests the whole time about their amazing song selections. We gave them a giant Spotify playlist of music we like just for reference, and they really honored our taste. They played a lot of our favorite songs that weren’t even on our list!! 100/10 experience!

    We have been to 3 weddings that hired Heart of Gold (HOG) DJs and each time the dance floor was popping! We were not only looking for sometime to throw an amazing dance party but for someone with run of show experience and Allison, our DJ and founder of HOG ensured the seamless operation of all the sound-related elements throughout our entire wedding. We heard compliments of our DJs professionalism and song selection from a number of attendees. Allison’s communication, coordination, and planning efforts were key in reducing the stress and effort of the overall wedding planning process. We did not have to worry about any potential sound-related issues during the ceremony, speeches, or dancing portion of the evening. Additionally, my husband is a DJ himself so he has a high standard for the expertise of his fellow DJs and he wanted to play his own short set during our dance party. Allison was gracious enough to collaborate with him in order to make that happen. She is upbeat, easy going, and her experience and confidence at our specific venue was helpful. We highly recommend Heart of Gold for any special events you throw!
