On the wedding day, she coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, ensuring everything ran smoothly and on schedule. She also kept us on track during the day without being intrusive or pushy and ensured that we got to truly enjoy all of the events of the day without having to worry about any of the coordination behind the scenes. Planning a wedding should be one of the most special precursors in a bride's life resulting in one amazing unforgettable day. But let's face it, planning can take a sharp turn to feelings of stress and being overwhelmed in an instant. When I started to feel this way I reached out to my sister in law for desperate advice. She started by telling me how her parents paid thousands of dollars for this big beautiful wedding and expected her to implement every agenda item a wedding event could hold. She felt ok about it all until the wedding day arrived. She found herself running around managing guests, vendors, bridal party, and handling any issues that would arise before the ceremony and during the reception. She was so busy making sure her own wedding day was on track she missed enjoying it all. So her advice to me was to type out a timeline of the day and hand it over to someone I trusted to take it from there. To sit back, relax, and let myself be an honored guest at my own wedding. And this is exactly what I did. We employed Amanda and handed over our precious timeline of events that encompassed our wedding day running as planned. I am wholeheartedly convinced that the success of my wedding going so smoothly is due in large part to Amanda. My guests were happy, I was happy and Amanda looked happy. Because of her, I was able to be mentally and emotionally present for one of the biggest days of my life. She took care of everything, she took care of us. So now, because of my experience with Amanda, I tell any bride I meet that they must not run the day, that they absolutely must hand it over to someone they trust or a professional wedding coordinator. Making this wise and simple decision is pivotal to being able to soak up every special memory of your magical day.
