Initially, he was booked, but due to Covid rescheduling, we were able to find a suitable date with him—he was also accommodating as our dates changed due to COVID restrictions. James helped us envision what the music and mood would look like from cocktail hour all the way to the end of the night. “Hands down Seth absolutely killed it. Our dance floor was pumping the entire time (2.5 hrs straight), and he was able to cater to our mixed Latino-American crowd. Seth's DJ skills were on point - he masterfully warmed up the crowd at the end of dinner, had epic and creative transitions, and nailed the overall flow of music through the night. In addition to his DJ skills, we loved his approach leading up to the event. He had a nifty app that let my husband and me input all the songs we love (and don't love) and organize them by events and genres. We'd put notes in the apps of what songs we for sure wanted at a specific time, vs then just giving him a pool of our favorite music and letting him have free rein. He respectfully nailed the requests we specifically asked for and then blew our minds with what he did with the rest. It really felt like he immersed himself in our music selection and delivered a jam-packed set that flowed well and had everyone dancing all night. His uplighting kit was also a great add to the magic. People kept asking us who the DJ was and where we found him! On top of all that, he's great to work with and is super organized and respectful. “Oh man, let's talk about Daniel and his www.azbestdj.com crew! From "booking us" to "being there at last dance of the night" Daniel seriously rocked our wedding day! I mean, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and exactly how we wanted it. Communication was on point, and he really took the time to understand us and make the music choices for day uniquely ours. I had my special "1st Dance" and "Ceremony music" already picked out, but for "our 8 year olds to 80 year old crowd" I didnt know what to pick for "fast dancing" trusted Daniel to keep the party going and he totally nailed it! We've got some Greek family on my mom's side, and by request from a family member, he even played a sick Greek song later in the night that got everyone grooving together. My aunt led a traditional greek dance step, and it was a blast! Seriously, so many of our guests complimented Daniel and the dance floor was never empty and I liked how the microphones, DJ lights and DJ/MC and even "planning time" were "all included". “When my husband and I started planning our wedding two years ago, we agreed right away that we both wanted a live band for the reception - it was the most important thing for both of us, as we knew we wanted that kind of energy in the room. As we researched bands (mostly through wedding-themed websites like Wedding Wire and The Knot), we came across the Lucky Devils Band and saw all of their good reviews. There are a lot of other bands you can find in and around Los Angeles, but they had one really big advantage that most other bands didn’t - regularly scheduled showcases where you could see them perform live. LDB were actually the first band we seriously considered, but we still did our due diligence and looked into a lot of other bands. We said to each other - we can’t just book the first band we find! Well, we ended up doing just that, and it was the best decision we made! Not only do they make it easy for couples to come see them live, they are also talented, professional, and truly affordable. Mike Smirnoff, the musician/producer who was our main point of contact was super responsive, friendly, and remembered us from early on (we ended up attending a lot of their showcases because we just enjoyed hearing them live!). The small downside to the band is that because they are essentially a collective, you won’t necessarily know which musicians will be playing on the day of your event, however, Mike took into account all of our specific requests for certain members we saw at each of their showcases, and he secured everyone that we had wanted. We had a six-piece band, which included two versatile musician/singers (Andrew on guitar & vocals, and Jason on keyboard and vocals) so we got the most bang for our buck. Kaitlyn was amazing on vocals, and Mark was killer on sax, with Dimitri on bass and Mike himself on drums rounding out the band. We got SO many compliments from our guests all night long - including from his parents, who are VERY picky about music, and from other friends who are composers/musicians themselves. Our wedding was in March, right as the pandemic panic was kicking into high gear - and we were very stressed about the cancellations and our own fears, but when the music started playing, we forgot about all of it and danced until we couldn’t feel our feet. We highly recommend the Lucky Devils Band to all couples!! Get yourselves to a showcase and see for yourselves how great they are!!”

One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. “This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.”
