My husband was searching for venues and we came across Kingsville Lodge. The location was perfect, a middle point between our families, out in the country, a breathtaking view, and a place we could have our wedding, reception and lodging in one location. The lodge was everything we dreamed it would be. The inside is gorgeous, the upstairs room was the perfect size and lighting for incredible getting ready photos! The ceremony was even more beautiful than I imagined. The lodge ceremony can be personalized anyway you decide which makes it unique for every couple! Sharyn was absolutely phenomenal through everything. She made sure the landscaper was there the day before we checked in to ensure the property was perfect for our special day and that the shed was full of wood for the fire! Sharyn pays attention to all of the small details so you as the happy couple don't have to. She made everything so easy for us, and the lodge is beautiful. We have gotten SO many compliments about our wedding photos and everyone asks where we got married because it was so beautiful! If you're looking for an intimate location with a breathtaking view making for a unique wedding, I highly recommend booking the Kingsville Lodge!

Skyview was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved that we could bring our own catering and that the alcohol was provided. The bar packages are awesome. Jordan and Donna were so helpful from the beginning. Easy to work with, kind and very communicative whenever I had questions. Leah is friendly and made the entire process stress free. From the menu selection to the order of the day, Leah helped us get everything in order. We did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Pinstripes. On our wedding day Leah and her team were super attentive and helped with everything. This team went above and beyond helping our guests (and us) and making sure everything was going great all day long. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When we see guests who were at the wedding, we still hear about how wonderful the food was and how great the set-up was at Pinstripes. I will recommend them every time someone asks!

We had a lovely stay at Plaz Vilka for our college couples-only reunion. We had a mix of couples and singles and the cottages gave us flexibility for people to choose their sleeping arrangements and allowed for privacy. The property also had plenty of spaces to gather together as a large group which was the goal! We even did a special outdoor dinner event with a private chef which was the highlight of the weekend. The chef had multiple kitchen options to prepare and serve dinner at the property with plenty of supplies. We had the best weekend complete with beautiful sunsets! Highly recommend this property and the owners were great to work with - absolutely no issues at all! Thank you!

Fun, Energy, Great Vibes! 5.0 Stars: A Truly Amazing Venue! BOOK IT!! Heartland is a wonderful location for a wedding. The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding. I highly recommend Heartland to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding that's truly one-of-a-kind!

For any brides searching for a wedding venue, I highly recommend Heartland on Heritage. Between the lodge and the new barn, it is perfect for a full weekend of wedding activities! It’s perfect for indoor or outdoor ceremonies. With the lodge, we were able to offer a place to stay for our out of town guest- and for the bridal party the night of so they didn’t have to worry about driving! The owners are the nicest people and they are so easy to work with! They helped us set up and they had a ton of decorations that we were able to use for no extra cost. Heartland will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

When you know, you know right away. Our wedding was small and absolutely magical from start to finish. I will cherish every moment for the rest of our lives. I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

Tropical Paradise in Geauga County! I kept telling my husband when we were looking into venues, "I want somewhere close to the water that's peaceful and I want it to feel like paradise, but I want to get married not too far from home". Most of our family is from the area, so we wanted somewhere that we didn't have to travel super far either. I had been looking for DAYS and everything was either way too far, way too expensive, ehhh, or just not at all what I was thinking. My husband hopped on Google, and said "Hey, how about this place called Shangri-La?" I looked at the pictures and I was like "Where is this place?!" He said "5 minutes from us". I could NOT believe it! It was GORGEOUS! The pictures are amazing but don't do it justice. I immediately reached out to Pam and Rod who own Shangri-La with interest. They said we could come and look at it that day if we wanted! My husband and I went and fell in LOVE! So so beautiful, and they have clearly spared no expense on making it so elegant, beautiful, convenient, affordable, and just magical. They were so amazing to work with. I knew when we parked and walked down the walkway even only seeing a small area of the location that was it. That was the place we were meant to be married at. Pam and Rod were so unbelievably amazing to work with. So caring, so organized, so attentive. They even offered us to set off fireworks at the end of our wedding (we got married on the 4th of July). It was truly the best day of our lives. I didn't worry about a thing, everything went smoothly, and they were just so great to work with! I will absolutely be returning to Shangri-La in the future as they can accommodate you for any kind of gathering you have in mind! They even went the extra mile; I was in a very bad car accident about 2 weeks after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon. I was in the hospital for a days and had broken my neck and had surgery on my knee that left me re-teaching myself to walk. Somehow, Pam and Rod had found out that I was in a car accident, and they stopped over at our house with the sweetest care package and card. It truly made me cry. They are such sweet and wonderful people. And we had such an amazing visit. Pam and Rod are just such unbelievably genuine people. You just feel like you're "home" when you're at Shangri-La. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La and Pam and Rod <3
