About this venue
Willowdale Lake is a quaint, lake community tucked among the trees in North Canton, Ohio. Nestled amidst the shimmering beauty of three lakes, Willowdale offers beauty and privacy for your special occasion. Our private clubhouse is a warm and inviting setting for your wedding or other private event. You and your guests will be charmed by the colonial style clubhouse built in the early 1900's. A massive fireplace, restored hardwood floors and original rough-sawed beams recall the classic beauty of a simpler time. Along the east side of the clubhouse, guests can look out the wall of windows to take in the stunning lake view. As the sun sets, the wooded shoreline is illuminated in a golden glow.

The Ballroom
A unique, rustic venue for your reception.
Our clubhouse features a ballroom that can accommodate 170 guests which includes seating along a lakeview wall. The 2 areas are separated by an authentic original oak beam railing creating a rustic ambiance. The beautiful hardwood floor creates a spacious area for entertaining & dancing. The high ceiling & exposed beams create a welcoming atmosphere & casual elegance. The huge fireplace is frequently used as a background for photos. The hall also contains a bar for your event & food prep area.

$2600 for 5 hours for Ballroom rental plus a per person charge depending on which tier is chosen.
The Gazebo
Classic, lakeside charm in Ohio
The picturesque gazebo can be decorated to match the theme of your special event. The lawn area can accommodate approximately 165 chairs with 35 more people standing. Following the ceremony, couples and guests often choose to take the short stroll to the colonial-style clubhouse, where their joyous day can continue long into the evening.

Had a wonderful experience!
Communication was quick and helpful. Plenty of time to set up and clean up. The space is so charming and warm. Lots of space for storage. This experience was amazing from start to finish! Highly recommend!!

From the moment we reached out to Willowdale Lake Country Club, we were impressed by their friendly and personable communication style. The venue itself was cozy and quaint, filled with charm which was perfect for our wedding celebration. The staff was helpful and easy to work with, allowing us ample time to add any personal decorations and rehearsal ahead of the big day. They also provided great recommendations for additional vendors and services, and were flexible with the use their some of their equipment for the reception. They partnered well with our day of coordinator to help over come any challenges to ensure a great experiences. It was truly a place where you could make it your own special day. Our ceremony took place at the outdoor gazebo over the lake, with stunning views of the water and fall leaves. The residence were very accomodating and respectful of our day! Overall, Willowdale Lake Country Club was a gorgeous venue perfect for our day! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue experience.
