This fourth-generation family-owned and operated farm employs a talented administrative team. Your wedding ceremony is the reason everyone has gathered together. Let’s create the vision you’ve always dreamed. With an abundance of options for ceremony sites, every ceremony on Rivercrest Farm is as unique as the couple. Let the natural elements speak to you. Hilltop ceremonies frame you and your beloved in front of eastern Ohio’s rolling hills and untouched woodlands. Next to the barn, ceremonies take place on a shaded lawn looking out over woods and ravines and our beloved highland cattle and horses. If you’d prefer a roaring fire to be your backdrop, our bespoke fireplace creates a warm and cozy ambiance for ceremonies or evening festivities.

If you’re dreaming of an indoor ceremony, planning a winter wedding, or mother nature just has less than ideal plans that day, we’ve got you covered with our white-washed Amish timber framed barn. Added as a seamless additional to the historic barn in 2005, the white barn has space to seat guests comfortably with heat and air conditioning during your ceremony. Large windows allow an abundance of natural light and views out towards the surrounding woods. Timber arbors are included in each space for your ceremony to take place under.

Cocktail hour pavilion

A toast to the happy couple…

You’ve brought your loved ones together and they’ve watched you say your “I Do’s.” Now it’s time to enjoy a glass of bubbly and start the celebrations! Cocktail hour is an important time of the night. You may be busy taking some family photos, but guests will be getting comfortable and enjoying the beautiful space you’ve chosen for them to gather in. You’ll want to make sure this is a night they’ll enjoy, relax and remember forever.

Rivercrest Farm’s grounds include a boxwood topiary garden with a bocce court, a life-size chessboard, outdoor games, outdoor fireplace, animals to visit, and an organic garden to wander. Alcohol may be brought in, but must be served by licensed bartenders at your event. Included with the venue is an antique wood bar.

Dinner Space (Barn)

A room with a view…

The ambiance is already here: warm timbers. Hanging chandeliers. Flowing curtains. Twinkle lights above. Large sliding barn windows open for a full view of the hills and valley our highland cows graze upon and let the setting sun trickle through. If it’s a cooler evening, the windows close, the chandeliers dim, and the barn becomes a cozy oasis. For fall and winter events, we do have heat throughout the barn.

The space includes beautiful guest restrooms, handicap accessible restroom and facilities. Caterer’s prep kitchen onsite with fridge, freezer and warmer. Skip the headache of tons of additional rentals: included with the venue are 200 wood cross back chairs, round and long tables, mismatched vintage china, silverware, wine glasses, water goblets, and champagne flutes. Our maximum capacity is 250 guests.

Reception Space (Barn)

Enjoy this magical evening with your loved ones under the original slate roof of our historic barn. Imagine this: you’ve just been announced with your beloved into the barn. Your family and friends stand to applaud the new couple. At your seat, a glass of bubbly. Your closest friends rise for speeches and toasts, sharing the funny history that’s just your own.

Bridal Suite

At the top of a sweeping staircase…

The bridal suite is a serene oasis. Two sitting rooms to spend the day relaxing and enjoying time with your bridal party. Two full baths with showers, a large makeup vanity and a romantic clawfoot tub, in case a soak is more your style. The bridal suite has air conditioning and heat. When the times comes, make a grand entrance from the staircase into the barn. The bridal suite is a beautiful backdrop for your photographer to capture photos of you with your nearest and dearest. Use of the bridal suite is yours for the day, in case you ever need to pop upstairs for a deep breath and an I can’t believe we just got married! moment.

Cowboy Suite

Under the bearskin rug…

A rustic hangout for the rest of the wedding party. A TV, full bath and kitchenette make the Cowboy Suite a cozy way to wrangle your crew together to hang out, have a drink, and calm those wedding day nerves.

The Cowboy Suite is located on the main floor of the barn and is climate controlled with air conditioning and heat. It also provides a quiet respite for younger guests, babysitters, and nursing mothers.
