We booked Teyanna in 2022 for our August 2024 wedding and did not regret it one bit. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Teyanna was beyond accommodating and informative throughout the entire process. Her precise, creative, and professional "client-first" mentality shone through. From countless Zoom calls to meeting up in person to select flowers, it was more than we could have asked for and were expecting. Her professionalism and creativity showed through when we had to improvise our outdoor ceremony to an indoor one thanks to a horrific tropical storm. Her professionalism & knowledge was just what we needed to make this happen. Her sweet personality was a huge bonus and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The communication between her and my daughter was excellent. Sam was very prompt with answering any of my daughter’s questions prior, during and after the wedding. Her service fee is VERY reasonable. She traveled from Dayton, three hours each way, for the rehearsal and for the wedding !! Sam and her team helped box all the centerpieces and miscellaneous items while we were still enjoying the evening. This was a huge help and I was very thankful for the extra time that was freed up for us to spend with family and friends. There was a small hiccup with our food caterer and Sam quickly jumped in and solved the problem. I could not have asked for a more perfect day for my daughter, it was everything she dreamed of and we were all stress free thanks to Sam. I would HIGHLY recommend The Black Barn Event Planning. Sam is amazing at what she does!!

If you are looking for a day of coordinator you NEED to hire Melissa and Kourtney! They were nothing but amazing! I hired them for day of coordination for prior to that you’ll have 2 meetings and be able to call/text Melissa about anything you’ll need! She did a fantastic job coordinating the rehearsal and making sure everyone knew what they were doing. The day of the hemming on my underskirt was falling apart because my shoes had rhinestones and I could barely walk because how tangled it was! The minute Melissa and Kourtney got there, they pulled out their scissors and safety pins and fixed my dress in no time! They set up my ceremony space which was absolutely beautiful and made sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be for the ceremony. After the ceremony they brought out ice water since it was so hot and then later brought us food from the cocktail hour and drinks. Which was great since we were starving! I didn’t have a dj because we had an intimate wedding and the yard games out in the patio, so Melissa announced everything for us which was amazing! I just couldn’t had made this wedding everything I’ve dreamed of without her and Kourtney! I’m sure there’s at least a million other things they did that I’m just forgetting right now that made my wedding perfect! I would give them 1,000 out of 1,000 stars if I could!

Kayla was absolutely incredible to work with! I would work with her again in a heartbeat. She is so genuine, kind, and on top of things. Once she arrived at the venue, I put all decision making in her hands and it was the best feeling knowing I could just enjoy the day and that she had everything else handled. She goes above and beyond and does it with grace and love. At one point, our wedding cake fell apart and Kayla immediately made herself a trash bag dress and got to work fixing it! She captured beautiful videos of our day and put together the sweetest videos that we have already watched over and over again and will treasure for the rest of our lives. Her husband is absolutely amazing as well and we were so grateful for his presence and hard work! We would one million percent recommend working with Kayla.

I went with Prestige Planning for my wedding planner because of the ease of use. I met with my certified wedding planner before I booked and she was amazing and explained the whole process. I knew I could plan my own wedding but I’m not a pro at all so I knew I would need a lot of help. I didn’t want to spend the money on a full wedding planner so going this route was absolutely perfect. They were with me every step of the way. I especially liked the SOS calls they give because I needed them to assist with a vendor I was having an issue with. I knew I was going to need help with logistics and stuff on the actual day of my wedding because I wouldn’t have time to do so, so I added the coordination add on to my package. So I got my wedding planned with major help from an actual certified planner and coordination for my wedding day for less than others are charging for just coordination. Just go for it. You will not be disappointed at all! They really went above and beyond and did more for me than what they had outlined they would do. I got more than my money worth.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Lissia was always available for advice and to make sure everything was going well with the other vendors. She guided us through our wedding rehearsal. On the morning of our wedding she was there early to decorate and make sure everything was in place. She made our already beautiful venue look perfect and even brought a few additional decorations. Throughout the day, she made sure everyone (especially me) was in the right place and kept things moving. Lissia was always calm, cool, and collected and if anything went wrong during my wedding, I don't know it because she made everything feel like it was going so smoothly (and she caught that the table numbers I set up and the groups of people with the corresponding numbers on the seating chart didn't match). Every little detail was taken care of. I highly recommend It's the Little Things, I hired her for day-of-coordination but I bet wedding planning would have been much easier if I hired her for full wedding planning.

Let me start by saying my wedding was a tall order! I wanted a wedding that was gothic, elegant, Victorian-inspired, dark, and moody. We were going for gothic without it being “scare grandma” gothic! And to make it a step harder, our wedding was in a very modern looking building in Manhattan. And to make it even one step harder, my husband and I are based in Ireland. Lauren completely understood my vision and designed the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. We had so many friends and family approach us about how beautiful the decor was, and even multiple members of staff and various vendors saying they have never seen the venue look so amazing. Her attention to detail is beyond phenomenal and everything is done with such thoughtfulness and due diligence. Lauren was so organised throughout the entire wedding planning process. She helped us look for the best vendors, she went to view different tablecloth landscapes and furniture when we couldn’t (again, we live abroad!) and kept me up to date every step of the way without bombarding us so we could continue to regulate life outside of wedding planning. I have recommended Lauren multiple times to newly engaged friends, and will continue to recommend City and Terrace in the future! I hired Alex as a day-of coordinator for my wedding and she was definitely a thorn in my side for a few months leading up to the wedding, BUT that’s exactly what I needed!! Otherwise I definitely wouldn’t have been able to stay on-track with figuring out details, locking in vendors, making payments on time, etc! She also creates a whole day timeline for your vendors and family members. The day of the wedding, she did FAR more than what I would’ve imagined - she had a whole emergency kit (think sewing kit, tampons, q-tips/tissues, a personal portable fan, bandaids, and more! I think she said she even had toiletries for the bathroom?!), a steamer to steam my wedding dress and the moms’ and SIL’s dresses, having everyone stick to the timeline, welcoming/directing guests as they walked through the venue (we had 3 room changes), moving rentals from one space to another, to dropping off my florals for preservation! She was great to work with!

I cannot say thank you enough to Steph! She was absolutely amazing. She was so committed to learning what aspects of the wedding were most important to us and making sure they happened on the day of. For example, we were getting caught up in the dancing and were going to skip the cake cutting. She didn’t push, she just asked, “Are you sure? You told me that this was something that was important to you, so I just want to check”. And I’m so thankful she did that, because it’s one of my favorite wedding moments! She went absolutely above and beyond for us. I am currently in medical school and was so stressed leading up to the wedding, but Steph made me feel like it was possible.
