Sam was hands down the best person to have coordinate my wedding. She was efficient, punctual, trustworthy, and so unconditionally kind. As the DIY bride that I was, it was hard for me to trust others with understanding my vision. Well, I barely had to describe some details to her and she just “got it”! Let me elaborate. Due to timing, my group was unable to decorate the ceremony space day before as planned. It was a huge stressor of mine because no other party members were able to do it for me. When Sam came to run our rehearsal instead of asking me “what do you want me to do?” She asked me, “what is stressing you out”. That question was way easier for me to come up with an answer for than the million possible tasks I could have had her do. I told her how the ceremony space not being decorated before the wedding day terrified me, because I would have to have my groomsmen do it, and not be able to see it before walking down the aisle. Sam calmly responded “I got you”. Somehow she said exactly what I needed to hear. Saturday when she arrived, she decorated the entire space, and not once did I worry about it again. The first time I saw the ceremony space was, in fact, when I walked down the aisle. It took my breath away She, somehow, was able to coral my groomsmen, communicate with vendors when I couldn't, and allow my day to flow smoothly. There was not one request I had that Sam responded with any resistance, a no, or made me think any part of my vision was impossible. She offered solutions and constructive criticism in a professional and loving way. If you know me, I tend to be anxious and strive for perfection. Sam strives for perfection and has such a calm disposition. This is why we were the perfect match. I am also a bridal hair stylist/ makeup artist. So I understand the chaos behind weddings. I loved her from a client perspective, but I also pray I get to work with her as a fellow vendor soon. My other vendors expressed how lovely and organized she was. I could go on forever about how amazing and crucial she was to the success of our wedding. But, unfortunately there is a character limit. So, I will leave you with this. She is wonderful. She is precise. She is sweet. She is worth EVERY PENNY of your investment. You will not regret anything. To offer context, we tasked Maggie with taking an old, rather outdated country club, and asked her to transform the venue all while managing accommodations for over 260 people. Additionally, the country club was a complete blank canvas which required us to bring in vendors for every single detail. Not only did Maggie handpick top-notch vendors and successfully manage them all, but she did so with the most calm and pleasant demeanor. The country club manager said that out of the many wedding planners he has worked with over the years, Maggie is by far the best because she was enjoyable to work with and incredibly good at her job. We couldn't agree more. My entire family is thankful for Maggie and what she did for us.
