Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.

We chose this wedding venue for two main reasons, 1. Having everything in one location which made the day and planning 10x easier! 2. The Terrace. Our wedding day weather could not have been more perfect and guests were able to enjoy the terrace the entire evening. Monica was amazing to work with as was the rest of the staff. Food was delicious, we saw many clean plates while making our rounds. I loved that the spaces themselves were beautiful, so we really didn't need much decor and they had a lot we could borrow (e.g. arch, centerpieces, table numbers). Highly recommend!

The West Shore Country Club is the PERFECT venue for weddings or other events. We had the most perfect wedding day and it was all thanks to this amazing team and of course the coordinator Brittney. She took our dream and made it come to life. The venue was so accommodating, easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire planning process. Brittney was a hero the day of the wedding and made it so stress-free for everyone. They do an excellent job with the food/drink service as well. As soon as I entered the lobby of The Booking House I knew I found the location where I wanted to get married. From the exposed brick walls, wooden beams and floors, the super cozy bridal suite and bachelor room for the men, not to mention the extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff, I was blown away by this venue. All of my guests raved about how unique the venue was and the beauty of the place. Brittany was an angel and so incredibly helpful in planning and organizing, which was even more meaningful as an out-of-state bride, she took away my worries and worked with my tight schedule in touring the venue and having our meeting virtual. My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of 2021, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. Thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!

Bowling Brook Mansion is incredible! This is a truly special venue. We offer our strongest possible recommendation, and our earnest thanks, to Debbie and her staff for making our wedding day more beautiful than we had ever imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous. The mansion is colorful and picturesque; the indoors are classy but not cluttered; the grounds are sprawling and luscious. We held our ceremony in a gorgeous, decorated, wooded grove, and took photos throughout the surrounding farmlands. We were very happy with the amount of space our guests had available to roam and mingle inside and outside the mansion. The ballroom was spacious, and with a cool summer evening, we were able to open an outdoor patio/tent area for guests to socialize. Also, when the evening wound down, we went to the roofdeck with close family and friends for a late afterparty under the stars—a gorgeous night in the countryside! Debbie and her staff are amazing. We can’t say enough about Debbie herself. She treated us like a member of her family, not just another customer. She was also easy to reach and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. She worked to understand our needs and sincerely respected our vision for our wedding, making several accommodations for our plans—such as permitting us to select off-list vendors, working with our family’s arrival time needs, and allowing us to stay in the honeymoon suite before the wedding. On our wedding day, she stayed on top of managing the vendors so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves. We owe a special thanks to Debbie’s staff for helping out in the aftermath of a hurricane. During the week before our wedding, the remnants of a tropical storm swept through Maryland. We were very worried that we would have to commit to an indoor ceremony, but the storm cleared late on Friday night, and Saturday was temperate and picturesque. Debbie and her staff arrived early Saturday morning and worked very hard to get the mansion and the grounds ready. Their hard work made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. They made the entire process stress free for us. They are so detailed, thorough, reliable, flexible, attentive, professional, and they truly care about their clients experience. It was enjoyable working with them. Dianna & Daryl handled the vendors the day of (as well as coordinated with them leading up to the wedding) which helped alleviate stress from us. They set up all of our decorations and table settings so we didn’t have to worry about any of that. The venue looked magical and turned out exactly how we envisioned our wedding. There was not one thing I would have changed. I cannot recommend them enough! We had a great experience with Olde Village Mill and we’re so grateful to have worked with Dianna & Daryl

We booked this venue due to how beautiful, classical, and elegant it looked. The price was also very fair and reasonable, however you really have to be aware of what you are getting when you book. The space is wonderful but you are truly just getting use of the space without any additional service. The employees of the Liriodendron were difficult to get in touch with following our booking. There was some staff turnover between booking and the day of our event that wasn't properly communicated. Additionally, they do not provide some of the day of services that were mentioned during our tour. The employee they had there on the day of our ceremony and reception basically was there to unlock the doors and to let us know when our time was up in the evening. If you are going to book with this venue, I would anticipate hiring a planner, or at the very least, a day of coordinator. Despite this, the venue is truly stunning and it photographed better than we could have imagined!

We booked the Barn at Mount Hope for our wedding in March of 2019. Little did we know it would be rescheduled twice due to Covid-19. Nicole worked with us through everything from start to finish, twice and even sent us small tokens to let us know we weren't forgotten over the two years. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to help us in this crazy hectic time. Nicole and her team were amazing from 2019 to 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with the event. The wine was delicious and we made new cider fans out of some family members with that amazing blueberry cider. The Barn was a gorgeous venue for the wedding we had and the Renaissance Faire backdrop only added to the feeling. It was a truly magical evening for us

The Cloisters Castle in Maryland was a beautiful venue for our wedding, with a classy and elegant style. While their communication style could have been improved, as we had to follow up multiple times to get responses, the team did a great job tending to the details on the day of the event. They provided a gorgeous space, kept the indoor fireplaces lit and cozy, and ensured our guests' needs were taken care of throughout the celebration. Overall, we were very happy with the quality and value of The Cloisters Castle, and would recommend it to other couples looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding venue.

If you are looking for an outdoor / garden wedding venue, I highly recommend Prosperity Mansion & Farm. It offers stunning scenery and affordable prices that will fit your budget. There is a charming, vintage bridal cottage and a mancave that brides and grooms can use and enjoy while getting ready separately for the day. I especially love the ceremony area; there are these gorgeous Egyptian doors the bride walks through to walk down the aisle. These types of doors are rare for an outdoor space. The tent for the reception is beautiful and has a unique brick patio area. But I think my favorite part about this venue is all the different little areas on the property, including the gaming area and a bird sanctuary that are so unique. There is a formal garden, a game area, a swing, and even a firepit for making smores. There are just so many places to take beautiful pictures, which I think is important to capture on such an important day. You can really get so much on your wedding day for such reasonable prices. We could not be happier with our choice of hosting our wedding at Maryland Golf and Country Club! From the first email inquiry, Rachel was great to work with and extremely helpful - she answered the billion questions we had and was so friendly to work with. Her staff exceeded our expectations the day of - professional, kind, and made the wedding run smoothly. The banquet/ballroom had just gone through renovations before our wedding which made the space even more gorgeous and nothing can beat the view of the golf course and mountains (the balcony off of the ballroom was the perfect escape for a break)! We were lucky to have had great weather which made those outdoor pictures on the course so special. They also hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before - food for both nights was great. The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!

We rented half the upstairs area in Blue Pit for our rehearsal dinner and I have a feeling it won't be the last time we reach out to Blue Pit for an event or catering. Cara, the owner, is wonderful and very accommodating. The space is cute and quirky and doesn't need much decoration for events. The food is DELICIOUS every single time we visit and this was no exception. Our bartender and main point of contact for the night was Brad, who was amazing every step of the way. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Blue Pit every time. You can't go wrong here.

I can’t say enough about how fantastic of a wedding we had at the Carlisle Pines. Tracey and Deb and the staff were wonderful to work with and helped us not only through our special evening but were there to work with us through payments, planning and organizing. They were patient with us and some of the best most honest people to work with. The venue is in a great secluded location with ample parking. There was plenty of space at the location for our party of 100 and could easily accommodate more. All throughout the night we received so many compliments of how nice the venue was. We can’t recommend this place enough for a wedding or even a corporate event or party. The photos don’t do the place justice for how nice it is. Thank you for everything!
