The two separate buildings, "The Grove" Events space and Listening room, and the Trailside Brewing and Tasting Room, offer diverse options for events of different sizes and styles. We had our reception at Trailside this past Fall of 2023. The day of, everything went perfectly. We were given ample time to set up, freedom to move around in the space, and ability to utilize it as we saw fit. The venue usually has live music, but they booked an acoustic band, which set up in the main dining area of the brewery. Our reception was able to play its own music, from speakers we brought, and not feel impacted from the live music going on for the rest of the patrons. Our event did not co-mingle too much with the general public; however there was a couple people that drifted in and we politely asked them to leave. As stated above, our overall day of was all we could have wanted and more. The days leading up to our reception were very stressful due to renovations that weren't quite ready for our event. Since we were the first party in this space, we had to bare the growing pains, which Trailside tried to accommodate for as much as possible. I believe since we were the "test" party, this team will grow from the experience. All in all, our reception day was all we could have wanted and more, so when it came down to the wire, the team delivered.

Serenity Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was extremely responsive via email and phone leading up to the big event, answering all of our questions thoroughly. On the wedding day itself, they went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were constantly available to assist with anything we needed, responding within seconds to requests. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute changes was invaluable. We couldn't have asked for more attentive, approachable, kind, and easy to work with people helping us pull off the wedding. Honestly, Serenity Ridge played a huge role in making our wedding absolutely perfect and effortless. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day long thanks to their top-notch coordination. We loved every second working with them and couldn't recommend Serenity Ridge highly enough for your special day!

They also have a lot of great working relationships with vendors in the area, which I think made life easier too. I cannot recommend them highly enough for your wedding (or other event quite frankly). Wedding planning can be so stressful, and Robin helped ease my mind on so many things. One huge draw besides the obvious charm and scenery was the fact that there were so many decorations available to use already at the venue. Yvonne and Ashleigh at Aurora are WONDERFUL to work with, too. They were on top of everything and the day of our wedding was so smooth and easy. I never felt like I had anything to worry or stress about as far as the venue was concerned. I used Ashleigh for her day-of coordinator services, and it is one of my most highly-recommended things to do! She put a timeline and everything together for us without me having to stress. You will not regret using Aurora!

We still have friends mentioning that it was the most fun wedding they have ever attended and we feel the same way! Also, the entire Highland team worked so easily with all of our vendors, it made it so nice for me on the day of to know that everything was taken care of. Plus, the beer and wine at Highland were a hit and everybody loved getting to try all of the craft beers. Can't recommend them enough and I wish I could do it all over just to relive that day in such a beautiful space.

We fell in love with the pictures of the buildings and rooms online and couldn’t have imagined it being even better in person. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. The hotel rooms and venue were absolutely beautiful and included details that made it that much more special. The close proximity to downtown action was so convenient for venturing out but you really feel tucked away in your own little world at Zelda Dearest. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Zelda Dearest and anticipate many more trips in the future since their team knocked it out of the park for our event!

Homewood, a special event venue in Asheville, NC, is an ideal destination for rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, and gatherings. Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. The Great Room seats 110 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for dance floor and DJ or band. Homewood is fully handicap-accessible. The beautiful and lush surrounding grounds provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site.

Homewood did an INCREDIBLE job of delivering our dream wedding, at the beginning of this April. Our top criteria when looking for our venue, and how they worked out, were the following: 1) low-ish budget- we wanted a venue that didn't have a lot of requirements in terms of vendors. We didn't want to pay extra for chairs, tables, all the fine print- and Homewood does a great job with this. Almost everything for the venue itself, from setup to tear down, was included in the price. Homewood has three required vendors- a caterer, coordinator/planner, and bar service. These are three components of a wedding that arguably you cannot go without so we were fine that these were required! And for the services we got the prices were absolutely reasonable. From there, there is so much flexibility on what you can do. We wanted a great photographer so spent a little more on that, but didn't care so much about the cake so went with a Publix bakery cake which our coordinators still made beautiful. There is no judgement and whatever your choices are, Homewood's planners, Carolina Love Events, will do an INCREDIBLE job of making your dream wedding come to life. I cannot put into words how amazing they are! 2) mountain views and scenery- you can see just from pictures that Homewood checks that box :) our previews and final shots we've gotten back so far are incredible. We are dedicating an entire wall of our house just to wedding photos! 3) LGBTQ friendly- we are a wlw couple and wanted a place that was accepting. Homewood was proud to welcome us and we did not feel one ounce of judgement, just pure acceptance and love! We truly had the best wedding and I still pinch myself that it really happened. Homewood will always have a special place in our hearts!

The Barn is the perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable celebration, whether it’s a rustic elegant wedding for 50 or 500 guest. The Lodge is a 5,000 square foot Conference Center. The Great room has 20 foot vaulted ceilings. The Boardroom will seat 14 people at a conference table. There are 2 additional dressing rooms upstairs. The largest of the dressing rooms is known as the Brides Room, providing a relaxing and calming feel, with large vaulted ceilings, and views of the mountains.

This venue was incredible. The natural beauty or Reams Creek valley and the large trees on the property make for stunning photos and a sacred place to enter into your marriage ceremony. The Barn for the reception was set and decorations were beautiful. Doug worked with us on our menu and the food service was delicious and went great. We were on a budget and needed something that would work with us as we did our own flowers, cocktails, charcuterie, etc. Doug provided everything we needed at no extra cost and made it a smooth diy wedding, filling in any details I may have forgot that day, down to gifting us the big sparklers for the departure! It was the perfect venue for us!

With six years of event planning experience from Greenville Magazine, I thrived on the buzz of big bashes. Then, two years ago, we dove into planning our daughter’s wedding, and bam! I was hooked on the joy of it all! So, we took a bold leap, snagged 30 acres, and rolled up our sleeves to transform our vision into reality: an agricultural paradise, a horse boarding haven, and a stunning event venue! Fast forward to August 2024, and our event barn is finally ready to rock! We can’t wait to bask in all the love as families and friends come together to celebrate. I mean, who doesn’t love a good love story, right?

Milepost 1808 Wedding Venue and Events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly responsive and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful ambiance both during the day and in the evenings. The gorgeous views of the countryside were the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. When we had to suddenly change venues due to a hurricane, the team at Milepost 1808 worked tirelessly to help us move everything in just one week's time. Their hard work paid off, as our wedding day was truly magical. On top of their exceptional service, Milepost 1808 is also very reasonably priced. We were even able to take our bridal portraits with one of their gorgeous horses, Autumn, and the results were breathtaking. I cannot recommend this venue enough for any couple looking to have an unforgettable wedding day.

While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband and I got married at Timber Hall at the end of June and had a wonderful experience! Cheri was communicative, helpful, and very reassuring when it comes to the planning process. She was incredible helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions for vendors along the way! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has a dreamy outdoor space for the couple's first dance and parent dances. The ceremony was so memorable with the long walk-way and the unique ceremony site, our guests kept complimenting it all night! Our pictures turned out amazing with the mountain views in the background! We loved everything about Timber Hall and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We highly recommend this venue for someone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in the mountains!
